Review: 2011 JYJ World Tour Concert in Thailand
Date: 2 & 3 April, 2011
Venue: Impact Arena
Three male dancers appeared at the end of the runway on stage and scorched the floor with their moves. This segment was set up solely for them. One of the dancers whose face was said to be similar to Junho [Junsu’s twin brother] was really a splitting image of him! He was so good-looking – which was why fangirls in the hall screamed for him the loudest.
The darkened stage was lit back up again. On stage, there were six men in hooded cloaks drumming synchronously. Intro to “Mission” started when the three boys came out dancing while wearing those hoodies as well. They smoothly yanked the hoods off of their heads, evoking screams from fans. The beat of this song thumped and shook the concert hall. It was actually not to my taste because I personally am not a fan of the Electronica genre. Nevertheless, listening to them singing this song and dancing their feet off, I just couldn’t help being entertained. The entire concert hall came alive from this song. On the first day, I noticed that “Mission” was not as energetic as it could have been, but on the second day, everything was perfectly in sync and hard-hitting. The fun was heightened even more before it ended with a bang.
Cut to the streams of still photos of our boys shown on the gigantic screen once again. I guess it was a little break time on stage. The three boys had a few moments to catch their breaths and we, fans, could cease screaming for a while.
