[OPINION] 110225 So the compensation for interfering with JYJ is 20 million KRW… but what about the producers who went along?
Recently, the courts have dismissed injunctions filed by SM against JYJ. Following their decision, the courts declared that SM must pay 20 million KRW for every time SM interferes with JYJ’s activities. Through this, the interfering of singers’ activities by their previous management companies such as SM or JYJ has become officially illegal. However, SM should have stopped their unjust actions long before the court’s decision and order.
Management companies such as SM and JYP are famous not within Korea, but also in foreign countries. SM dominates Asia and JYP has introduced Wonder Girls in America and succeeds in promoting every idol group they produce. Of course, such marvelous hands of these companies most likely haven’t dealt with only official businesses. However, such “unofficial” businesses become the result of arrogance when they are no longer used to help someone succeed and, in the case of JYJ, are instead used to practically lynch others and interfere with someone’s future.
Although even fans may partially agree or disagree in these situations, management companies are damaging their own idol artists’ image through such negative situations. When a management company’s image becomes negative, groups that have already succeeded may not be affected, but considering the short lifespan of idols in general, the negative image cannot have a good impact on the future idols from that company. More importantly, besides weighing the pros and cons of such actions, purposely interfering and preventing another person’s activities as singers are the actions of gangsters and not of a good company. At the very least, they shouldn’t do this if they care about SNSD.
[NEWS] 110225 JYJ Sold Out First Official Fan Meeting Tickets in 15 Minutes
Group JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu)’s first official fan meeting ‘A Sweet White Day Date’ which is scheduled to be held on March 12th at Seoul Jamsil Stadium, is reported to sold out all its tickets in within 15 minutes.
The group’s current agency CJeS Entertainment opened the ticket sales on last February 24th and fans had flocked the site ever since, swept all tickets away in only 15 minutes time, yet proving another massive ticket power of the three member-ed group.‘A Sweet White Day Date’ will have ‘Encounter’, ‘Attraction’, ‘Intimacy’, and ‘Confession’ themes where fans are expected to interact directly with the three members. Increasing even more anticipation, the fan meeting has special stages been prepared as well, including solo stage of each member and special performances of JYJ with their personally invited guests.
Meanwhile after holding the fan meeting, JYJ is embarking to their large-scale world tour with 5 countries in Asia and 5 cities in North America as its destinations.

[NEWS] 110225 JYJ Strikes 7 Countries and 10 Cities of Asia and America with “World Tour”.. Jaejoong is Executive Director
‘JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011,’ the worldwide tour concert series of the group JYJ (Jaejoong, Yuchun, Junsu) ‘s worldwide album ‘The Beginning,’ will unfold in five countries of Asia and five cities of North America.
CJeS Entertainment’s Representative Paek Chang Joo, who is in charge of JYJ’s management, revealed that “In the coming April, beginning with the the first of the world tour concerts in Thailand, JYJ’s album promotion will resume for two months. The finale of the tour will take place in Korea.”
‘JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011’ will draw its magnificent curtains over two days in April 2nd and 3rd in Bangkok, Thailand.’
Further, it is also planned to be held in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, et al. and so the meeting of JYJ and their Asian fans that took place last year through the ‘JYJ Worldwide Showcase’ is forecasted to become reality once again.
Not only that, JYJ will be all over Canada and the USA’s New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC and San Francisco, and will implement an extensive worldwide promotion.
Of special note, the performances in Asian regions of the ‘JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011’ will have JYJ member Kim Jaejoong in the role of the Executive Director.

YamaPi said that he has become acquainted with some members of TVXQ, the Hallyu group that has been performing in Japan for more than 4 years. Particularly, he confessed that he has a very close relationship with Jaejoong, who in Japan has even acted as a lead of a drama. He has also picked Jaejoong as the artist that he loves and respect, in a recent press conference during his Hong Kong performances.
“There’s been a lot of collaboration works between Korean and Japanese artists. If there is an opportunity, I’d like to do one with Jaejoong. I think it will be good because we are close. On the other hand, I’d like to ask the Korean fans– with which Korean artist do I seem to mix well (T/N: “have chemistry with”)?

It was a normal filming at first but somehow they got wet. JJ said “Good afternoon~” ((((；ﾟДﾟ))))))) YC looks like he was in a good mood, and when he saw some kids, his eyes sparked (LOL) and he waved his hands. Then he was looking for his ipod, saying: “my ipod? my ipod?” and it was very cute. the 2 of them looked very good.

[NEWS] Court order states SM Entertainment will pay 20 million won each time they interfere with JYJ activities
After the Seoul Central District Court dismissed both of SM Entertainment’s injunctions against JYJ last week, the judge Kim Daewong has decided to incur a fee against SM Entertainment every time they interfere with JYJ’s activities. Through a press release, JYJ’s current acting agency said on February 21st, “SM Entertainment will not be allowed to interfere with JYJ activities and will pay 20 million won every time they violate this court order.”
The court has decided that there is a possibility that SM Entertainment will interfere with JYJ’s activities, and in the case that they do interfere, have made this ruling. To prevent any possibilities of interference, the court has ordered a restraining order against SM Entertainment.
Even though the court has ruled in favor of JYJ, C-JeS Entertainment’s Baek Changjoo said, “There are still many obstacles to go over. There are many things still to be worked out even with the court ruling in our favor. I hope the public and fans support our cause and help create a more progressive celebrity system.”
