Kim Jaejoong’s MINE MV topped Yinyuetai Monthly Chart for February

** Yinyuetait is one of the major MV sharing site in China.
** V-chart: Starting in July 2011, the site began to have a monthly music video chart in five different categories based on the artist’s region (Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Europe and United States, Korea, and Japan), and in November the site began to have a weekly chart.
On April 13th, Kim Junsu won the Best Korean Male Artist Award at China’s largest music video website Yin Yue Tai’s award ceremony, the V-Charts Awards, with his English single ‘Uncommitted’.
Kim Junsu’s award is receiving attention for being voted by fans all around the world. He was not selected by a board of judges, but rather through the online V-chart results for the year of 2012 and an additional round of voting. He was awarded first place with the most number of points.
Kim Junsu’s first English single, ‘Uncommitted’, is a sweet and mellow R&B song composed by Sony Music composer, Bruce Automatic, who has worked with the likes of The Wanted and Leona Lewis. With this song, he received a huge response from China to South America and Europe.
CJES Entertainment stated, “As this award ceremony is decided by aggregated chart results, there is even more meaning to this award. Kim Junsu is very happy and thankful that he won first place with a song that was revealed through only a music video and some performances. He plans to express his gratitude through a video.”
Additionally, a music representative said, “After JYJ’s recent ‘The Return of the JYJ’ concerts in Tokyo Dome, ‘Uncommitted’ placed #1 on Amazon’s K-Pop chart and is showing its immense popularity. Kim Junsu showed his musical capabilities to fans worldwide with his 13-city world tour last year, receiving a hot response even in Europe and South America.”

This is the 5th time that Kim Jaejoong’s MINE MV ranks 1st in Chinese Yinyuetai Weekly Chart (Korean Stars)
Yinyuetai is the biggest MV website in China

Last week, Jaejoong‘s mini album ‘I‘ had ranked #1 in Taiwan and Japan, in addition to taking the top ranking on the Korean Vchart for China’s biggest music video site, Yinyuetai.
This week, he managed to rank #1 again on Yinyuetai for the 2nd week in a row. As further proof of Jaejoong’s popularity on the site, his music video on Yinyuetai has accumulated more that 10.1 million views, while the same music video on YouTube has garnered nearly 1.8 million views. Additionally, he was also ranked #2 on Billboard‘s World Album Chart.
His first solo album has been seeing a tremendous amount of popularity, and his solo concert is also receiving an incredible amount of interest.
To meet his fans across Asia, Jaejoong will be embarking on an Asia tour, starting with Thailand on February 17th.
Taking over one country at a time, JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong recorded high on China’s MV chart as well as Billboard.
Kim Jae Joong’s first solo album, I continued its reign on the Chinese music video site, Yin Yue Tai’s V chart for K-Pop for the second week since January 14.
Not only that, Kim Jae Joong’s name was found at the number two spot on Billboard’s World Album chart.
These feats continue his success as a soloist with his album ranking high on music charts in
Taiwan, Japan, and Korea.
Jaejoong‘s music video for “Mine” ranked #1 in China.
The music video that was released on the 17th ranked #1 on Yinyuetai‘s ‘Korea V-Chart’. The V-chart reflects votes from the fans themselves, and is a chart that is a good gauge to measure an artist’s popularity in China. Jaejoong’s video for “Mine” ranked #1 in 5 days, far above the #3 video of Super Junior-M‘s “Break Down” and Super Junior K.R.Y‘s “Promise You“.
YinYueTai is China’s version of YouTube and Jaejoong’s video for “Mine” has already garnered over 4.6 million views.
A Chinese media representative said, “Jaejoong’s album will receive a lot of love in China. It’s a new album that’s different from the standard idol dance music. The high-quality music video with the mysterious character has charmed the viewers.”
His mini album ‘I‘ has ranked #1 on Hanteo‘s real-time, daily, and weekly charts as well.

Kim Junsu’s music video for Uncommitted is continuing to enjoy global popularity. On September 11, China’s largest music video site, Yin Yue Tai, revealed that Kim Junsu’s video placing first on its monthly chart.
The same video previously placed first in the same site’s weekly ranking back in August.
In addition, Uncommitted recently took over the first place spot on the Czech Republic’s MTV Wish List chart beating out the likes of Serj Tankian and Green Day.
Kim Junsu recently wrapped up his successful North and South America tour and will now prepare for a tour in Europe.
