i actually think they did pretty good. all the wank that this is causing is ridiculous. the song has a special place for me too, but still…code v – nor anybody else for that matter – deserves this much hate for singing a song by artists that they aspire to be as great as. i remember a lot of people were also mad at dbsk when they had the ~audacity~ to cover one of h.o.t.’s biggest songs, ‘we are the future.’ (and then the hate tripled when dbsk *then* performed ‘iyah’ at a later date lololol.) yeesh, kfandom is so negative. /rant over
I think they are receiving more antis is all due to the “interview” they had. I think since then alot of “fans” just didn’t like them. The difference between them and TVXQ was that they never once dissed their “seniors” even in jest.
Before them becoming Code V they were I think Best or something and I was a little interested in them because of their potential. But after the interview I kind of lost interest because of the tone and attitude of the interview. Don’t get me wrong they can sing good, better than most rookie groups but the attitude is a no no.
It’s not omg wow but it’s not bad either, idk I don’t mind if they want to do covers of db5k/thsk5, it’s flattering. I mean ppl cover songs all the time, even our boys did, it’s normal in concerts and such. As I said it’s not amazing but it’s still listenable.

Honestly I’m wondering too, unless they’re under avex, because as far as I know, thsk songs are still copyrighted under that company, except probably su’s intoxication. But then again they probably obtained permission via avex through their company to sing LITI.
In order to use other people’s material in a professional way – print or in this case music, you have to get permission from the publisher and pay a copyright fee. It is considered an infringement if you don’t. In JYJ’s case, they don’t own the copyrights nor have any royalty rights. Until they go to court and sort out those rights, they will be just like anyone else, they need permission. SME, and AVEX own the rights to all the music. This is another way they got screwed. It sucks, but that’s the reality But that can be changed. 🙂

I loved Heaven’s Postman … and wanted it to be a TV K-drama rather than a movie .
the only TVXQ drama that I liked was Dating on Earth …. the others where … well …even as a fan I was … bored .
being in dramas or even movies is an extra treat for me.. I love it ! and if they can do some drama like MV like “Blossom” pv or SS501’s drama mv ..then I’m as happy as can be .but I don’t really want JYJ to give acting much time as their music .. if they don’t want to .
it seems to me that when actors want to be recognized they do some unexpected role or character or go all out for a movie and I really don’t care much for that kind of thing… doesn’t always work out right .
I love them for their music and who they are but if ever any or all of JYJ consider taking acting to a professional level then I will support them anyway I can .

You make sense, but please remember that JYJ’ blood is music, sort of speak. However, they are talented enough to try other areas in the artistic world, and whatever they do, they will do great, and our job is to support them not matter what avenue they choose to present themselves to the public. JYJ is still young on the entertainment stage, and they have many barriers and challenges to overcome, so for me any medium that they choose for their exposure is fine.
So, let’s continue to cheer for them stronger and stronger in the years to come. I, for one, I am looking forward to see what else are going to come up with. In my ideal world ( and as greedy fan), for the next 5
years, I want them each year to:
1. Have one World Tour Concert, and each year to add more countries to their tour.
2. At least one Tokyo Dome and Seoul Dome concert per year.
3. At least one full album, and one mini album, and singles per year.
4. At least one drama and/or one movie per year for each one of the men, or combinations of the the men.
5. Junsu to continue to excel in his musicals every year to the point that he can do Broadway and European stages.
6. JaeJoong to put out at least a couple of rock albums in Japanese in the next 5 years, and collaborate with Gackt, some other big axx rockers.
7. To continue to study music, compose, write lyrics, and wow us with their talent.
8. To have one 3voice DVD every year.
9. JYJ to have CF’s of clothing ( high end suits), chicken, cell phones, cosmetics, Lotte duty free, cars, also some international brands.
10. Continue to put out English albums, so they continue to reach English speaking fans.
11. JaeJoong to continue to direct concerts and other shows, and his concerts to become the caliber of “O” from the CIrque de Soleil, as he loves that type.
12. Junsu and Yoochun to have their own solo albums in the genres that they love, such as R&B.
13. JYJ official fandom to reach at least ONE Million all over the world.
14. The JYJ fandom to stand united under the JYJ umbrella no matter of their individual biases, while they still keep their individuality and autonomy.
15. To have at least one month reserved per year where the men are out of the public eye for vacationing, being with their lovers and families, recharging,
16. Shed completely and for good the idol name ( even though I believe that their past is very important, and I will continue to respect it forever).
17. To continue to be Korean ambassadors for the world in different areas.
I guess my plan is set to kill these men. However, I don’t care about anyone anymore, and because I know that barriers and challenges will be here to stay for a while, I want more and more, these men to become super successful to the point that they will become national treasures, protected as part of national patrimonium, so the society learn not to mess with good, kind, and innocent people.

What I read (unverified) was that he HAD to give up a hard disk containing hundreds of songs he did. (May or may not be complete songs)
With regards to having to turn over that hard drive…see that’s the difference between being a good and honest person and one such as myself. If it had been me…I’d turned over a new drive all messed up by pouring acid over and saying..’oops I had an accident”, and keeping the original one. How were they going to know later what songs I had on that drive? You could still do some more subtefuge…copy the original and put it in a safe deposit box. Nobody could get to that sucker! Banks don’t let ANYBODY get to those bad boys!

The Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee(SDAOC) will be taking votes from June 29th till July 20th to determine the most popular drama OST of dramas that began airing between April 1st, 2010 and April 30th, 2011.
The SDAOC began in 2006 and was created by the Seoul Drama Awards, which encompasses dramas from all over the world, and the Korean Broadcasting Association. It starting holding online votes for the most popular drama OST of the year in 2009 and the most highly ranked songs will be publicized at the celebratory performance or the OST concert of the SDA ceremony and its offside events. The top 10 songs will be put into a CD by the SDAOC and distributed to international and domestic fans for free at the SDA event.

This year, 40 songs have been nominated including Zia’s ‘Can You Hear Me’(from ‘Can You Hear My Heart’), Kim Yeon Woo’s ‘Sometimes, I Cry Alone’(from ‘Bad Boy’), JYJ’s ‘Found You’(from ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’), Lee Seung Cheol’s ‘That Person’(from ‘Baker King Kim Tak Goo’), Taecyeon and Nickhun’s ‘My Valentine’(from ‘Dream High’), Lim Jae Beom’s ‘Tenacious Person’(from ‘Sign’), Hyun Bin’s ‘That Man’(from ‘Secret Garden’), and Jang Geun Seok’s ‘Hello Hello’(from ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night’).

Almost all of us had the yellow light-sticks when we sat at our seats and the fans whom organized this project tried to give the yellow light-sticks to almost every fans. (Before the start of the concert, the fans doing this projects were giving a talk about this project on how they were going to do this.)
And when JYJ started singing “Fallen Leaves”, we quickly shaken the light-stick almost at the same time. That moment to me, was really magical….sigh….I really miss JYJ 😦

I did read some of the comments. I can’t really say yea or nay, because I don’t follow the others enough to know if their stuff is good or not. Anyhow, to me, what it all boils down to is the fact that the ‘idol’ model being used is not a strong one at all. The one thing that stuck out most was the concept of having the acts around long enough for the ‘great group’ to come along. All of it sounded somewhat pathetic to me.
All the criticism sounded so negative, which speaks volumes about how different people perceive the same environment. Sad, if you ask me.

They’re actually not a rookie… they debuted if i’m not mistaken back in 2007 under the group name bless. I think they came back to the kpop scene either this year or last year. I suppose they decided to pursue their career in Japan like supernova, because they weren’t selling well in korea. :s

I’m sooooo happy and excited for Jaejoong’s new drama .. FINALLY !!
but … can’t help being worried at the same time .( I was like this for Yoochun too)
as much as I enjoyed seeing him in the J-drama (Hard to Say I Love You) I really didn’t like it at all (the characters the story ..) his acting was good! better that I expected and he looked great ! … still …
I loved Heaven’s Postman … and wanted it to be a TV K-drama rather than a movie .
the only TVXQ drama that I liked was Dating on Earth …. the others where … well …even as a fan I was … bored .
being in dramas or even movies is an extra treat for me.. I love it ! and if they can do some drama like MV like “Blossom” pv or SS501’s drama mv ..then I’m as happy as can be .but I don’t really want JYJ to give acting much time as their music .. if they don’t want to .
it seems to me that when actors want to be recognized they do some unexpected role or character or go all out for a movie and I really don’t care much for that kind of thing… doesn’t always work out right .
I love them for their music and who they are but if ever any or all of JYJ consider taking acting to a professional level then I will support them anyway I can .

You make sense, but please remember that JYJ’ blood is music, sort of speak. However, they are talented enough to try other areas in the artistic world, and whatever they do, they will do great, and our job is to support them not matter what avenue they choose to present themselves to the public. JYJ is still young on the entertainment stage, and they have many barriers and challenges to overcome, so for me any medium that they choose for their exposure is fine.
So, let’s continue to cheer for them stronger and stronger in the years to come. I, for one, I am looking forward to see what else are going to come up with. In my ideal world ( and as greedy fan), for the next 5
years, I want them each year to:
1. Have one World Tour Concert, and each year to add more countries to their tour.
2. At least one Tokyo Dome and Seoul Dome concert per year.
3. At least one full album, and one mini album, and singles per year.
4. At least one drama and/or one movie per year for each one of the men, or combinations of the the men.
5. Junsu to continue to excel in his musicals every year to the point that he can do Broadway and European stages.
6. JaeJoong to put out at least a couple of rock albums in Japanese in the next 5 years, and collaborate with Gackt, some other big axx rockers.
7. To continue to study music, compose, write lyrics, and wow us with their talent.
8. To have one 3voice DVD every year.
9. JYJ to have CF’s of clothing ( high end suits), chicken, cell phones, cosmetics, Lotte duty free, cars, also some international brands.
10. Continue to put out English albums, so they continue to reach English speaking fans.
11. JaeJoong to continue to direct concerts and other shows, and his concerts to become the caliber of “O” from the CIrque de Soleil, as he loves that type.
12. Junsu and Yoochun to have their own solo albums in the genres that they love, such as R&B.
13. JYJ official fandom to reach at least ONE Million all over the world.
14. The JYJ fandom to stand united under the JYJ umbrella no matter of their individual biases, while they still keep their individuality and autonomy.
15. To have at least one month reserved per year where the men are out of the public eye for vacationing, being with their lovers and families, recharging,
16. Shed completely and for good the idol name ( even though I believe that their past is very important, and I will continue to respect it forever).
17. To continue to be Korean ambassadors for the world in different areas.
I guess my plan is set to kill these men. However, I don’t care about anyone anymore, and because I know that barriers and challenges will be here to stay for a while, I want more and more, these men to become super successful to the point that they will become national treasures, protected as part of national patrimonium, so the society learn not to mess with good, kind, and innocent people.

What was said was that Jae had this harddisk which contains hundreds of the songs he wrote and when JYJ left, he was told to leave it behind.
i think i read or saw somewhere where JJ said that he lost a harddisc that contain about 30 new song when he have to moved away at the beginning of the lawsuit….but i don’t remember where i see or saw it….
I don’t think he ‘lost’ it and that it only contains around 30 songs.
What I read (unverified) was that he HAD to give up a hard disk containing hundreds of songs he did. (May or may not be complete songs)

With regards to having to turn over that hard drive…see that’s the difference between being a good and honest person and one such as myself. If it had been me…I’d turned over a new drive all messed up by pouring acid over and saying..’oops I had an accident”, and keeping the original one. How were they going to know later what songs I had on that drive? You could still do some more subtefuge…copy the original and put it in a safe deposit box. Nobody could get to that sucker! Banks don’t let ANYBODY get to those bad boys!

The Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee(SDAOC) will be taking votes from June 29th till July 20th to determine the most popular drama OST of dramas that began airing between April 1st, 2010 and April 30th, 2011.
The SDAOC began in 2006 and was created by the Seoul Drama Awards, which encompasses dramas from all over the world, and the Korean Broadcasting Association. It starting holding online votes for the most popular drama OST of the year in 2009 and the most highly ranked songs will be publicized at the celebratory performance or the OST concert of the SDA ceremony and its offside events. The top 10 songs will be put into a CD by the SDAOC and distributed to international and domestic fans for free at the SDA event.

This year, 40 songs have been nominated including Zia’s ‘Can You Hear Me’(from ‘Can You Hear My Heart’), Kim Yeon Woo’s ‘Sometimes, I Cry Alone’(from ‘Bad Boy’), JYJ’s ‘Found You’(from ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’), Lee Seung Cheol’s ‘That Person’(from ‘Baker King Kim Tak Goo’), Taecyeon and Nickhun’s ‘My Valentine’(from ‘Dream High’), Lim Jae Beom’s ‘Tenacious Person’(from ‘Sign’), Hyun Bin’s ‘That Man’(from ‘Secret Garden’), and Jang Geun Seok’s ‘Hello Hello’(from ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night’).

Almost all of us had the yellow light-sticks when we sat at our seats and the fans whom organized this project tried to give the yellow light-sticks to almost every fans. (Before the start of the concert, the fans doing this projects were giving a talk about this project on how they were going to do this.)
And when JYJ started singing “Fallen Leaves”, we quickly shaken the light-stick almost at the same time. That moment to me, was really magical….sigh….I really miss JYJ 😦

I did read some of the comments. I can’t really say yea or nay, because I don’t follow the others enough to know if their stuff is good or not. The few comments I read that included JYJ, were a mixed bag. I couldn’t tell if the ones who thought JYJ were weak, were really being serious or not. Thought the comments about JYJ’s ‘mature’ sound being a negative, were more amusing than anything else. As for the comments re HoMin, I was wondering what promotions they were seeing, that we weren’t.
Anyhow, to me, what it all boils down to is the fact that the ‘idol’ model being used is not a strong one at all. The one thing that stuck out most was the concept of having the acts around long enough for the ‘great group’ to come along. All of it sounded somewhat pathetic to me.
All the criticism sounded so negative, which speaks volumes about how different people perceive the same environment. Sad, if you ask me.
