Hahaha…I don’t know if I can last that long. I’ve been trying to build up my immunity by watching JJ video clips – somehow it isn’t working, & my local hospital’s refused my anymore blood transfusions! 😉
Today it pours too much here in Seoul. Everywhere is flooded.. So I am a bit worried about how many reporters would attend, and how much attention the press conference will receive. But anyway, the “dream-me” (“me” means rice in Korean.) donation for JJ this time reaches 6.56 ton. It is a record high as an individual star. To help your understanding, donation through Lee Jun-kee was the highest last year, and one year total was about 6 tons. So, our JJ for sure is the highest individual for this year. (one event a lone 6.56 ton.) I think JJ fans have waited so long for his individual activity that they are pouring their love through donating money… hehe… I hope JJ knows how many fans are paying attention to him right now!
wow! I am flabbergasted: 6.5t for only one event. I am sure JS and YC got a lot for their respective individual activities.
Wow! such a big donation in the name of JJ and the other men. What is more surprising is that this donations are of rice, which will feed many people in need. I have a particular interest in poverty and hunger issues, so I am happy to see that this will help many people in need.
We are always watching. JYJ are the most generous and compassionate of all pop stars anywhere. Their good works, so many of them, are known to us, each and every one. This is merely ONE of the reasons why we love them so passionately and so devotedly.
Really appreciate you K-fans for helping us understand the social/cultural “context” of these news—–it really give us I-fans extra insight/meaning into truly what’s going on in Korea 🙂
I’ve never been this proud before for our Jaejoong and the fans..this surely gonna give him super boost to work hard and he knows now how much we love him and support him..all the way till the end…
Fans Worldwide donating rice to celebrate Jaejoong’s debut in Korean Drama, Protect the Boss…
it’s a Blessed Beginning for our lovely and kind-hearted Kim Jaejoong
here’s wishing you a very successful career in acting
Kim Jaejoong Fighting!
Protect the Boss Fighting!
I know that aside from fans .. 2 of the happiest people for Jae’s debut are his 2 dongsaengs (Yoochun and Junsu) ..
They individually made a lot of rice donation.. cant imagine how it is when you combined it and count it as JYJ.. fans are awesome!! Good job everyone! (specially to those who donated)
Really random: how many of JYJ3ers are noonas to JYJ men? I am a proud noona. Ke Ke Ke! (or He He He, Jeez, I have no idea how to write in the internet language).
@daebaksama
Hey, dont forget to include ahjumma. I am sure not only Chun has ahjumma fans, Jae also has his share 🙂 🙂 coz this ahjumma also list Jae and Su in her book
@wanzhaf, yes ahjummas. what is actually an ahjumma? Is it a married woman over 30years old? Sorry, I don’t know much about the concept. And I think I heard the men saying that they don’t call them ahjumma, but noonas. Anyhow, we need many teenagers, young adults, noonas, ahjummas, grandmothers, aunts, and also all their masculine counterparts.
I am not a noona fan, but i love them, they are the best. they make this great fandom greater with their intelligence. this is coming from a JYJ fan who’s still in his teens ^^.
ajumma :: A middle-aged woman. Can be used for a close friend of the family, or a stranger. Can be made more formal as “ajumoni.”
I’d also heard (vid clip if I remember correctly) the three saying they don’t use the “ajumma’ term for the older lady fans, we are all noonas!! Works in my book! 😉
“I’d also heard (vid clip if I remember correctly) the three saying they don’t use the “ajumma’ term for the older lady fans, we are all noonas!! Works in my book! ;)” – – – – Ok, for this 38 yo, than “noona” works for me (^‿^)♥
@MINMIN you get the point, people tend to look for the year. If they hear you’re ’85 and the boy ’86, they conclude that you are one year older than the boy. 😦
I’m a Peruvian fan as well, living in Chicago, and I feel so Happy that my friends there are supporting JJ in this special Day ^^ Thanks Admin for all the work that you are doing for the boys….
Awesome! Happy that Jae’s getting plenty of support.
What I understand is, there are more support to come coz some fanclubs are still collecting the donations for projects for Jae.
This is wonderful. JJ is getting so much support from the fans in such a constructive and positive way. I’ve always liked the idea of donating rice so that they can also feed the hungry.^^
On the other hand, does donating rice is very common for celebrities? I only saw this when “idol” become one the highlight of drama or musical such as Yoochun or Junsu. If there’s only actors or actresses and no “idol” casting in the drama, would they also have this kind of donation from fans? Emmmm….
THIS IS URGENT! JGSK vote only 500 under Yoochun! Pls keep voting for yoochun, it’s getting too close! please keep vote for Yoochun. I really hope he won the awards >.<
k i am gonna state the obvious.. but am i the only one to go and count the number of flags in that picture…it was 26… 26 O_O
i know JYJ are international star… but that is just wowwww
Congratz team jaejoong! you guys really act fast! And I see the usual fc names such as maze, melite hero and JaeTime ^ ^

ahahahahahah *pass the oxygen bottle*

Hahaha…I don’t know if I can last that long. I’ve been trying to build up my immunity by watching JJ video clips – somehow it isn’t working, & my local hospital’s refused my anymore blood transfusions! 😉
woho! happy yay
just saying on twitter. that’s a lot of rice, and it will feed a lot of people. me happy to see how much the fans gave.
Today is Jaetime, yayyyyyyyyyyyyy
So amazing to me! And no one deserves it more. I’m so glad the fans will do this for him.

ah.. I don’t know why my comment looks in bold. >,.< sorry for that!

@Sapphire ,but he was born in Jan.86,I was born in Dec.85….don’t tell me they will count it by…a year…
😦
@MINMIN you get the point, people tend to look for the year. If they hear you’re ’85 and the boy ’86, they conclude that you are one year older than the boy. 😦

You need to add website after you make the announcement. Because there’s two different sites for this voting. Chun maybe loosing at Korea.com but he’s not losing at the other site.
So here’s the Korea.com voting site
