The Biggest Topic of Conversation for Protect the Boss, Kim Jaejoong— Who Will Heal Him?
Cha Muwon, who is definitely the antagonist at first glance. The screen time has not been very great and he has also revealed some evil streaks of his own. But the hearts of the fans are focusing on such a Cha Muwon’s pains.
In the second episode of the new SBS Wed-Thursday drama Protect the Boss that aired on August 4, Cha Muwon put Cha Juhun in danger. He came to understand that Cha Jihun has panic disorder, and to use that knowledge against Jihun he made him give a speech on a podium.
Cha Jihun, as so planned by Cha Muwon, fell into a panic while giving the speech and ran out in the middle of the speech. Many people clicked their tongues, saying: “To think that such a man is the successor to the group.” Cha Muwon is expected to have been happy with the result on the inside. Furthermore, since Jihun’s symptoms coincided with the appearance of Seo Nayun, it seems that there is some kind of a secret in hiding. Cha Muwon and Seo Nayun had a plan unbeknownst to others. Going by the sharp gaze that Cha Muwon displayed in front of Park Youngkyu in secret, it seemed certain that he planned to push out Cha Jihun to take control of the group. As a part of the plan, Cha Muwon even situated Noh Eunsul as Jihun’s secretary. In all the world, is there another such a villain?
Despite all this, the fans are questioning on the official home page bulletin: “Who will heal the wounds of Cha Muwon?” In fact, that opinion is making up most of (the opinions on) the official website. It seems that they focused on the wounds that is hiding behind the evil. Kim Jaejoong has conveyed many messages relative to his screen time—is it that he is an acting genius? Or is it devotion of the fans towards JYJ who is said to be facing much trouble recently? Going by the countless support(ive messages) that poured out to Park Yoochun in Miss Ripley, the possibility that it is the latter seems high. To give a chance for an actor who has wounds to express such wounds on screen? If the production crew calculated down to such a point, then their casting can be said to have hit the mark 120%.
On the other hand, some netizens are voicing the opinion of: ‘Please (better) control the skin tone of Kim Jaejoong (by refraining from tone-down makeup).”
>_< You mean… this guy is a villain? ^3^ ^3^
LMAO I giggled trying to picture Jaejoong as a villain after viewing his new selcas. Jaejoong the antagonist is still very hot because he knows he’s bad.
@ail221
I know right? I read the article so seriously until I saw his selca pic.
How can this man become a villain?
Btw, yeah he is not evil, just bad, really bad….
What does the makeup comment mean?
He is pale, and they try to make him more tan (tone down makeup)
that’s what they did too when jeje was shooting for elle outdoors, right?
can someone kindly explain this to me: ‘Please (better) control the skin tone of Kim Jaejoong (by refraining from tone-down makeup).’
They want him to stop using make up? or something like that?
No, Jaejoong’s skin is naturally white and pure(maybe too white and radiant for TV).
So make up artist or producer (whoever that is ) making his skin darker by toning down. We think it looks unnatural and makes Jaejoong’s skin unattractive. That’s why fans are objecting the idea of toning down Jaejoong’s beautiful skin.
I like how the writer twist his story, from the drama plot, the wounds hiding behind Cha Muwon’s antagonizing character, then to the wounds of the actor himself, connecting to JYJ’s wounds.
“To give a chance for an actor who has wounds to express such wounds on screen? If the production crew calculated down to such a point, then their casting can be said to have hit the mark 120%.”
very well thought of, or the writer has a previous talk with PTB drama…
..cut..” previous talk with PTB drama PD”
Well, I hope the JYJ situation with their stupid ex company doesn’t overshadow the fact that our boys are good actors.
It’ll not be fair.
Exactly. I was a bit miffed at that comparison too.
Evil Jae is so hot ^-~
lmao.. the selcas… you can u make Minnie mouse evil..

YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Kim Jaejoong is blessed with lovely porcelain skin. Why do they insist on darkening it? You would think at least a shade or two at the most but then they overdo it like in that scene where EunSol cries during her interview. He looked orange/yellow like he was under harsh unflattering light or like he got sick or something. STOP DOING THIS TO HIM
AND FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME DO YOU PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT TAILORS DO!!!!!!! HIS PANTS BUNCH OVER HIS SHOES. He also possesses great, wide shoulders and some shirts (like the black one he wore when EunSol asked him why he hired her) are hits but others are misses.
I agree with ur entire comment.
Every single suit his pants are too long and I do not understand. His black shirt was probably one of his best outfits.
That pant length thing is a pet peeve with me. They ALL have that problem. I’ve wondered on many occasions what the deal is with Korean guys who have their pants bunched above the shoe. At least I’m not the only one! Thank You!
I think the only one I’ve ever seen whose pants are hemmed probably is Bae Yong Joon.
yes n the tone down makeup?? gahh….
im not a pro or anything but the makeup is not put on smoothly.
lyk sure u can make him darker but dont make uneven sploshes of the one colour on his face.
i mean, shouldnt certain areas still be lighter on the face (tones). ie. like the area around he’s eyes? lol i dunno but there should be tones right?
yeah we understand he’s an EVIL person but not a DULL person. dull characters r like background ppl, but he’s the MAIN antagonist. i’v always loved how evil ppl r portrayed n the image they try to produce jus simply fails.
simply put the makeup artist isnt at that level. seems like this production team cant afford pro stylists n makeup artists.
oh well i guess that’s a given.
lol, i wouldnt mind him being darker actually (like in the “O” MV ^~^)’
him being evil would b a great character/personality (lyk in …? lol forgot the drama name. the one where yuchun is married to he’s teacher. except thats more mysterious then evil, but it’s still a bad personality)
drool.
I think it’s funny how stylists struggle to make him look “normal” when other actors struggle to look porcelain white and magnificently tall and broad. Why can’t the man just show up to work, get dressed and be ready for a shoot? Because then he would have way too much time on his hands in a set full curious things for him to AMUSE himself with that’s why! Hahahahaha…..
JJ is such a hot antagonist here. At first glance, CMW really gives the impression of a man with a lot of ambition and secret plan; that is to take over the group. However, in their press con, didn’t they said that Jae’s character is a very kind man? And yes, though he planted No Eun Sul (whom he’s sure she’ll be worshipping the ground he walked on since he gave her the job) as CJH’s secretary, I felt that it’s not entirely for his own evil mean. I think NES did touch Muwon with her speech and I guess he was highly amused with this person. I also think that he taken into the account that since CJH is such a difficult person, he can’t have a normal secretary, lol! A normal secretary would cry & hightail within a week of working with CJH.
Not saying this as a Jae biased fan but I kind of deduct this from their Press Con. CMW is ambitious. But is he really such a villain? Of course we don’t know yet, but I have a feeling CMW is not that evil. It’s all his mother’s doing, brain washing him since young on how his father was kicked out, that Muwon is the rightful heir and getting back the group is the right thing to do. Anyway, if Muwon turns out to be really evil, then the 4 of them is damn good in misleading us during the Press Con, LOL
owh dear Villain Jaejoong, please destroy me in ur hand :p With that kind of persona I willing to give up myself to such villain :p lols
LOL… its funny how people carefully analysed jaejoong acting till his make up…. but i agree with d netizens comments bout it.. jae skin shud not be tan bcoz his beauty hidden.. ^0^
JAE EFFECT!!!! XD
I’ve been wondering about his character too…
is he evil? is he kind? no wonder in his press con he said that his character has a lot of masks
except when he is with his cousin where he revert back to his naive and childish self.
for us to wonder on his character’s true self..Jaejoong you have definitely beyond pass in your acting ability
like what the media are saying now…you are an acting genius!
continue making us proud.
Protect the Boss aja aja fighting!
everybody loves a bad boy!!
…its about i fall for the villain~~ xD
*about time i fall for the villain
