Let’s have fun, build friendships, share news, and be happy in JYJ ^__^
On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
Four anthropomorphic kingdoms – the Cats, the Mice, the Wolves and the Snowhawks –
“Once upon a time, in the Kingdom of Felis, there lived a blacksmith with the name of Lionhart. Sir Lionhart was a one of a kind blacksmith. He made his sword from a material only he could find, the Crystangea. The name came from its form, each piece coming together like a hydrangea flower. Though the material could be found anywhere in the world, it was, however, hidden from the eyes of the people. To find it, you needed something from the top of the sky as well as a small thing that could hide in the bushes and small trees, better if they’re witty. To get it, you needed something that could be quick, strong, and medium to large in size…”
“Where did he gets all these cats’ stories?” Hero asked with his palm to his cheek. They had set up a tent in the middle of the snowy woods to rest for the night, and Xiah was telling bedtime stories to the cats, as well as to Hero and Micky.
“There’s an animal bookstore in Soundbits, haven’t you visited it?” Micky asked.
“There is?” he was surprised that someone had actually bothered to set up a bookstore for animals.
“Why are you surprised by the animal bookstore? You should be surprised that there are people who actually write stories for animals,” said Micky.
“When Sir Lionhart first started out, he had no way to find and obtain the material, so he befriended three animals that he found on his trail. One was a witty, little mouse that called herself Celo, who could hide and search the ground very meticulously. Another was one that could fly high up the sky, with eyes as clear as crystal that could see from all angles: a one of a kind Snowhawk with the nickname Blanc. And lastly, there was the Wolf with no name, but he aided Sir Lionhart on his journey to find the Crystangea as a thank you for saving his life. Together, the four came together, and made a pact. Each one would get a portion of the material and vow to protect and aid one other and be a team of heroes that the people could rely on. They were a source of faith, so to speak, for their people.
After they found the Crystangea, each one of them set up their own Kingdoms, and became allies. However, as the years went by, the Snowhawk and the Wolf left. They both decided to travel on their own path to find something more. It was their decision, but because of this, they also left their Kingdoms. And so the two Kingdoms without its’ rulers were in turmoil. They were so hungry for power that they went against the pact that was made by the four friends and fed upon their former allies. Wars erupted for the four Kingdoms years on. Celo decided to move her Kingdom far away while Sir Lionhart stayed. Sir Lionhart used his portion of the Crystangea to create something very magical and even more powerful than the Crystangea itself. He was able to protect his Kingdom with it. He planted shards of the Crystangea under the ground with the Yule seed, watering it every day. His own people thought he was a weirdo, but didn’t dare to say it since he was their ruler. Days went by and the Crystangea shards grew inside with the tree. And when the winter solstice came, the Tree would shine brightly in the middle of the night…”
The cats dosed off as well as Hero and Micky, but Xiah kept going with the story even if his eyes were drooping, begging to be closed. Still, he insisted in finishing up the story. He turned the page, and was about to read on, but a whistling sound pierced through his ears and immediately he dropped, snoring soundly next to Hero and Micky.
The cats, however, completely woke from the sound.
“Guys, did you hear that?” Jiji whispered.
“Of course, it was so piercing–”
“Shhh!” Leo shushed Tigger up as soon as he saw the lights outside of the tent, the shadows moving, and music that could only be heard by cats. To humans, it would just sound like purrs. If it were loud enough, it would sound like whistles.
“I think we’re surrounded…” said Bakira with fear when he saw that the shadows of the cats all surrounded the tent.
The entranceway of the tent was opened to reveal an elegant-looking white cat. On top of his head was a crown, indicating that he was the King.
“Greetings,” the King lowered his head, “We’ve been waiting for you, Sir Lionhart, and his knights.”
“Leave,” Ordered Leo with a serious face.
The King laughed, “We will, but we’ll be taking Sir Lionhart with us,” he informed.
“Over my nine lives!” declared Leo.
“Is that so…” said the King, “Well, try and stop us,” he laughed again, louder than last time and ordered his soldiers to come in and carry away Sir Lionhart.
Leo and the others hissed. The other side hissed back, with the King stepping in, pulling out his sword. Leo magically pulled his sword out of nowhere. “Win or lose, we’ll still be taking him,” said the King.
Leo didn’t say anything, instead, he retaliated through quick action. As light and fast as the wind, he punctured the sword into the King’s heart. The King gasped, but didn’t fall down. He released himself from the sword and staggered out, with Leo on his trail. The fight went on for a mere one cat hour. Both were exhausted, but no one gave in. This forced the King to go with another plan, instructing the Wizard General to take Sir Lionhart by force, through the use of magic if he didn’t return home by a certain time. Leon, Tigger, Bakira, Pard, Odd and Jiji were on guard, protecting the three, but Jiji was quivering when he felt the use of magic.
“Something’s not right,” he said. In front of their eyes was something sparkly and, POOF! An old looking cat with a white beard, but oddly enough, dressed in a red fur coat and a pointy red hat appeared. He grinned, and then with a snap of his fingers, Sir Lionhart was gone. ”No!” Cried Jiji to inform Leo. Leo rushed back to the tent and saw his master gone. And the whole place was back to pitch black.
To be continued…
