JYJ’s new movie has dominated the weekend’s theater district.
Ever since the movie “The Day” released four days ago in only 19 theaters, the film drew audiences totaling 25,000 people. In response to the support of the fans, JYJ made a several surprise visits to the theaters. During their visits, the group talked about their future plans on albums, dramas, and other activities and spent time answering the fans’ questions.
JYJ said that this movie is what the fans have been waiting for, so it is very grateful to see so much support from the fans and thankful for creating a good memory for themselves and the fans.
This release of movie allowed the artists and the fans to interact off the camera. Because JYJ has been restricted on public broadcasting shows, the fans have been desperate to be more connected with the group. For this reason, the domination of the movie is very meaningful for both artists and the fans.

JYJ’s Documentary ‘The Day’ Rally 24,000 in Four Days
JYJ’s documentary ‘The Day’ rallied total of 24,138 people just after four days of its release. The fast speed also surprised the staff members as well.
A representative of Lotte Cinema stated, “We had over 110,000 people rushed to site that crashed the server. Average audience seat has been filled more than 75%.”
JYJ made an appearance for the opening and stage greeting at Hongik and Konkuk University. At the stage greeting the group introduced the movie to their fans; they also shared some info of their upcoming activities and a short Q&A as well.
JYJ shared, “As this has been a long awaited video by the members and fans I hope you enjoy it as much. We are happy and gain strength seeing our fans since a long time. We are glad to make memories together with our fans to enjoy.”
JYJ is to hold their world tour finale in Chile and Peru on March.
