As you know JYJ’s Jaejoong and Yoochun have recently received criticism because of “Sasaeng Fan” incidents. We think JYJ3 should not encourage “Sasaeng Fans” to continue disturbing JYJ’s private lives and cause harm to JYJ’s public image because to their actions. Due to these reasons, we announce that JYJ3 is adding a new rule:
“JYJ3 readers should not share “Sasaeng Fan” pictures or videos of JYJ’s private lives.”
We also would like to clarify that JYJ3 aims to uphold its integrity, both as a fan site and a news site. As it always has been from the beginning and as we continue to improve, our goals and rules are:
- We try to uphold the good image of JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu), by acting as honorably as they have.
- We avoid posting any picture that is of a “sasaeng” nature that many other Fan Sites post. This action was taken when Jaejoong and Yoochun expressed their discomfort with fans who follow them everywhere.
- We do not post on “Come On Over”, “All About JYJ”, “3hree Voices II”, and etc. due to their respective copyrights and the exclusivity of CJeS membership.
- We only allow and post pictures of the JYJ members in Public Events (for example: airport pictures, fansign events, press events, filming/shoot locations, musicals, etc.). We do not consider these examples as stalking or of a “sasaeng” nature because the Korean Media (as well as the International Media) also report on these occasions. Also, it is through these posts/articles that JYJ’s popularity is made more known.
There is something important that we hope our fellow fans will understand. We International Fans do not live in Korea, and therefore we cannot enjoy JYJ’s group and solo activities like Korean fans can since we live far away in many different countries. The distance and the fact that JYJ is being banned from Korean TV (variety shows, music shows, etc.) make it difficult for us as International JYJ fans to support them and encourage new fans. However, despite all these difficulties, we love, respect, and support JYJ. We want to see them happy and overcome all these hardships.
The role of JYJ3 has always been to share information about JYJ around the world. The recent flood of “sasaeng” articles should be shared to everyone and translated into different languages to further clear the names Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun. At the same time, this should be a wake-up call for those Fan Sites who keep posting pictures of JYJ’s private lives. Please, if you love them, don’t help “Sasaeng Fans” to continue disturbing JYJ’s private lives. There is a limit we should not cross.
We urge everyone, especially today and in these times, if you are a fan*, protect Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu.
