Actor-singer Kim Jaejoong is also showing talent in action scenes.
In MBC’s weekend drama ‘Dr Jin’, Kim Jaejoong acted in action scenes without a stunt double as Kim Kyung Tak – the police officer who is highly skilled in martial arts.
In a phone call with Sports Hankook on Jun 4, a representative from Kim Jaejoong’s management agency, C-JeS Entertainment said, “Kim Jaejoong is filming action scenes by himself. There are stunt doubles on set who are ready to film action scenes with higher difficulty levels. However, Kim Jaejoong’s action moves are good so his film parts are used.”
In particular, the episode broadcasted on Jun 3 showed Kim Jaejoong using his swordsmanship to protect Park Min Young (Hong Yong Rae) from hooligans. Even though the scene was short, it showed a strong martial arts performance.

I still remember his previous drama ” Dating on the earth ” when he was early debuted , one part of action scene also took by himself , he had showed his perfect action skill in that drama even he didn’t learn martial arts before , however his acting was nearly perfect .
( Yoochun also had very good performance in that drama , he is also a genius in acting too ! )
Now, Jaejoong/Kyungtak also acting the action scene in ” Dr. Jin ” by himself , his performance is also unexpected well !

This is amazing news. I was worried (OK, OK, I know – it’s probably JYJ3 blasphemy to admit it) about all of the action sequences he’d have to do and also the horse-riding while acting, and while shooting guns! Horses are unpredictable and even the best riders get hurt. (Song Il Guk was unconscious in a hospital for several hours following a fall from a horse on set and he is widely regarded as the best rider among the actors in Korea.) Of course we’ll all never forget what happened to poor Christopher Reeve. But even the sword-fighting… well, anyway, I was just wondering whether he’d be able to pull it off. I’m so glad to hear that like so many other things, Jaejoongie comes through like the champion he is. I know he LOVES to win and it looks like Dr Jin is going to be another winning role for him.

I love his action scenes in this drama! If you watch closely you can tell it’s all Jae doing the moves. The flying kick he did way back during the ‘Vacation’ film in a scene fighting thugs in a tunnel. Jae IS A BOSS!!!!

Jaejoongie was seriously amazing in that action scene. I kept replaying that part. I still haven’t found a gif picture of the whole scene. 😦 His moves were pretty sharp and strong for an amateur. You’re my hero, baby! ❤
In JYJ fandom, Jae is not considered as the best singer or dancer, not the best actor,
or whatever, (though its’ only subjective) , but it can’t be denied that he’s the most versatile,
If it’s a food menu for a buffet table, Jae has a lot of courses to offer and still learning/experimenting for a new recipe.
and that fighting scene is really cool, it’s still not the best but something new which excites us.

The thing that I will always always admire in all three above all is the work ethic they show when it comes to everything they do, even something they’ve never done before. They are determined to give their best.
Jae has ventured out with acting, and like always, he’s putting forth all that he’s got.

I just based those “best singer, actor, etc….” from most of the comments here in JYJ3, as I said it’s subjective though, what is best for me may not be even good to others. And I agree, the J – Y – J are giving out the best in them in everything they do plus they have that in born talents which not every idol/artist has.
I always thought Jaejoong is the best singer among not only JYJ,but also TV5XQ. he’s the main voice.

I like the costumes that the drama for police force. They remind me the Avatar of Earth, Fire, and Water. Even Jaejoong’s character remind me of Zuko. Of course his father character had to act Zuko’s father. The Korean drama of the Avatar!

I think the same. Jaejoong has really made Kyung Tak his own. I love Takie to bits. He left deep impressions in every short scenes he was in. I’m anticipating to see how Jaejoongie’s character will grow.
With 4 episodes of Dr.Jin aired,one can tell Jaejoong is great at acting although his scenes were too short.Rather watching others,they should add more Jaejoong’s story lines.If Jaejoong is not casted in this drama,I don’t think that the rating would be this high,because so far the story line of Dr.Jin is not catching at all.
I was actually really wondering if that was Jaejoong or a double. I figured it was Jaejoong because of the way his shoulders are and movements but I wasn’t sure.
