JYJ member Kim Jaejoong received a new nickname – the “magical flowery warrior.”
Recently, Kim Jaejoong is playing the role of Kim Kyung Tak in MBC weekend drama “Dr. Jin“. The official website of “Dr. Jin” published the calm and expressionless photo of Kim Jaejoong with strong eyes, earning the nickname of “magical flowery warrior.”
The Kim Kyung Tak which is played by Kim Jaejoong is slightly different from the majestic image which is imagined everyday. He is a military officer with slightly sad eyes, and producer has mentioned that this is the charm of this role. The producer also said, “Kim Jaejoong is praised for his performance as Kim Kyung Tak who has iron fist in a velvet glove. The unreal appearance and attitude as if walking out from the comic attracted the audience’s attention.”
The sheer popularity of the SBS drama “Rooftop Prince” starring Park Yoo Chun broke headlines today as viewership reached an all-time high in China.
Although it has not been long since “Rooftop Prince” aired in Korea, the Chinese media portal site Baidu boasts a fan community of approximately 59,000 fans reaching 60,000 for the drama.
Park Yoo Chun’s individual fan site has over 80,000 members as well. JYJ‘s Jaejoong has proved to be ever the handsome actor by showing that he can pull off hair styles of varying lengths.
On June 10th, he wrote on his Twitter, “How long has it been since I’ve had long hair…”
Dressed in his character attire for his MBC drama, ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin‘, Jaejoong is seen sporting a long wig as traditional of the time. In a second tweet with a picture of short hair and bruises created by stage make up, he added, “I want to go home.”
Netizens commented, “I didn’t think he’d match long hair this well”, “He must be filming without even being able to go home”, and “I feel upset because he’s lost so much weight lately.”

Kim Junsu’s solo album is continuing to make history.
According to the latest figures revealed by Gaon Chart, Kim Junsu’s solo album Xia- Tarantallegra sold some 120,000 copies as of last week making him the highest selling album from a solo artist in the history of the Gaon Charts.
A member of Gaon Chart said on June 11, “Since the creation of Gaon Chart, [Kim Junsu’s record] is the highest selling solo album [we have] on record. Though he is holding no broadcast activities, his diverse album has brought not only his regular fans to the stores but new ones as well.”
His music video for Tarantallegra is also finding massive success in Korea and even abroad in places like China where his music video placed first on China’s largest music video site, 音悦Tai, for the month of May.
In addition, Kim Junsu’s first solo Asia tour′s first round tickets for his concerts including Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan completely sold out in 30 minutes.
On June 11, Kim Junsu will release the dance version music video for Tarantallegra.
