On July 1st, an MBC morning show called “Happy Time” featured a special on their show which revealed the bloopers from the MBC drama “Time Slip Dr. Jin”. In the bloopers, K-Pop idol group JYJ member Kim Jaejoong’s adorable mistakes can be seen as well as actor Lee Jong Won dying from laughter during filming.
One of the bloopers reveal the actors of “Time Slip Dr. Jin” filming the scene where Kim Kyung Tak (Kim Jaejoong) decides to move on instead of holding on grudge on Young Rae (Park Min Young). Kyung Tak was supposed to leave on his horse but even after a long wait, his horse wasn’t moving. Turns out, Jaejoong couldn’t reach the saddle so he was squirming his body to reach it and almost fell off.
When Kim Jaejoong’s saddle was corrected, he had to smoothly exit the scene on his horse. Even then, a problem occured when his head garment got caught in a tree branch. Ashamed of his mistakes, Kim Jaejoong laughs shyly and apologizes.
Meanwhile, MBC’s “Time Slip Dr. Jin” features a story of a genius doctor from the 21st century who becomes time warped into the Chosun Dynasty in the 1860s. The drama contains an impressive storyline with an interesting mix of current medicine combined with traditional medicine of the Chosun Dynasty. Read More →
Fans who’ve missed JYJ’s “2012 Membership Week” can now rejoice as it was revealed that this would not be the first and the last event held by the group.
According to Asiatoday website, JYJ’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment made an announcement that the KRW 3.7 billion event will now be held every year.
The CEO, Baek Chang-joo stated, “This kind of long-term investment will not only help amplify fan loyalty, but also JYJ’s brand value.”
He added, “The content targeting Korean Wave fans needs to be diversified, breaking from the current performance-centred form.” He emphasised on the importance of the stars availability to interact with fans more personally rather than stage presence.
The “2012 JYJ Membership Week” was not created for profits as 15,000 Korean members and 7,024 Japanese members who won the drawing last month were able to attend without being charged any admission fee.
Mr.Yeo’s father passed away, so Jaejoong sent condolence wreath to the funeral despite his busy schedule.
Mr. Yeo posted this picture in his blog and said “That’s really thoughtful of you.”
FYI: Mr. Yeo Joon Young is the founder of Prain, JYJ’s former press agency.
Kim Jaejoong’s international fan club has attracted attention for their latest donation. Jaejoong’s international fan site, Prince JJ, has reportedly donated $1,500 USD (1.7 million won) to the U.S. international children charity, Operation Smile.
Operation Smile is an non-profit medical organization that started in 1987 in the United States and was founded by Bill and Kathy Magee. Plastic surgeons provide cleft lip and palate repairs for children who are in need of them. To date, they have provided over 150,000 reconstructive surgeries on children and young adults in over 60 countries.
The money donated by Prince JJ is being used to pay for the surgeries of six children.
Prince JJ commented, “Just like how Jaejoong’s smiles bring joy to us all, we hope that this donation will bring joy to these children and their loved ones.” The fan site also revealed that they are planning to donate another $1,500 in the future to Operation Smile in Singapore, helping an additional six children.
Netizens commented, “Kim Jaejoong’s fanclub is daebak,” “Kim Jaejoong’s fanclubs are really great” and “Kim Jaejoong’s fanclub are really really nice.”
