The viewer forums for the various music programs have heated up. On the 28th, after Kooki News report (Flood of appearance requests for Junsu to appear on ‘Inkigayo’, no response from the production crew..When will communication improve?), requests have flooded in even faster. Hundreds of appearance requests were posted to the viewer forums of KBS 2TV’s Music Bank (appearance director: Ha Taeseok), MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ (appearance director: Seon Hyeyoon) and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ (appearance director: Kim Yongkwon)
Due to invisible backdoor pressure, JYJ have not been able to appear on a music broadcast since they left TVXQ in 2009 and because of this, the Fair Trade Commission of Korea issued a corrective action order against SM Entertainment and the KPCAIC for obstructing JYJ’s broadcast and singing activities. JYJ fans were anticipating the sight of JYJ members on public broadcast following the corrective action order. However, the situation is remains that JYJ (Junsu) cannot be seen on the stages of the three big broadcast stations’ music shows.
One netizen wrote on Music Bank’s viewer forum, “Even the FTC has stuck out their hand (to JYJ). If you are not like other stations and are the nation’s broadcast station KBS, then I believe you will differentiate anyone,” requesting for the appearance of JYJ’s Junsu. On Music Core’s viewer forum, another netizen said “Many people wish to see Junsu on TV, at least tell us the PD’s point of view. Don’t stay silent.”
However, production crews are still staying silent at the justified requests from viewers. Even though many methods are used for chart rankings including reactions on SNS, an in-house panel, and mobile votes during the live broadcast, no clear stance has been released regarding casting (of the performers) despite the availability of an official forum, SNS accounts and news outlets. It seems that they do not care about communication with the viewers. Even to reporters’ phone calls acting as the messengers of public sentiment, they evaded our calls and we did not receive any stance from them.
On the 29th, ‘Music Bank’ writer ‘A’ stated to a reporter that s/he will ‘leave a memo with the PD in charge of casting’ but even until now, we haven’t received the slightest reply. ‘Show! Music Core’ writer ‘B’ stated that ‘the PD is currently absent so I will give you his/her contact information’ and as expected, there was no reply. ‘C’ PD of ‘Inkigayo’ stated ‘For casting related questions, you have to talk with the main PD directly’ and ‘I cannot give you his/her contact information’.
Entertainment industry representative ‘D’ said ‘No matter how low the viewership ratings are, the program PDs always consider the most powerful of the powerful companies” and “it’s harder for for a rookie singer to meet the PD just once than to record an album. In this kind of structure, there’s no reason for broadcast PDs to even care about JYJ.” Another representative ‘E’ stated, “From the stance of a broadcaster, even if there are no legal limitations, anybody would select SM between SM Entertainment’s many singers, actors and gagmen and JYJ. As you may expect, PDs do not have absolute freedom when casting. However, they should at least clarify the cause of all this.”
It is imperative that ‘National Broadcaster’ KBS, ‘Always your good friend’ MBC, and the SBS that ‘you will see tomorrow’ PDs feel more responsibility and assuringly communicate with viewers.

WTF are u saying?????????????????????????????????????????????????
JYJ is not a rookie singers….stupid!!!
This make me lose respect to kr broadcasters….lawsuit is not an excuse anymore…just grow a pair…morons!!!!
I hope JYJ will sign to a big management in Japan and could take care of them….and get to appear in Japan variety shows and music shows
This is so stupid there are no words!! Obviously the’re afraid of SME but we as JYJ fans must keep the pressure on and make them fear us!! JYJ Fighting!! >:)
This might sound crazy, but what if fans confront soo man through media ? or confront the PD’s I don’t know anymore, someone lend me a brain. But I agree with marisara, fans must keep the pressure for our voices to be heard.
Just want to know,.. Who will make their first move from “Those” TV Broadcast that have enough courage to invite our Boys.. (7-7)
* wait and see..
Phufffffff…huuffffff…..bleeehhhhhhhhhh !!! 😛
all the PD’s are puppets and are being controlled by SM, and excuse me rep.D junsu is not a rookie!!!!! and does it make sense that they casted jyj when they were in dbsk and then when they left SM they suddenly become rookies that don’t even have the right to meet the PD, DOES THAT MAKE SENSE!!
“does it make sense that they casted jyj when they were in dbsk and then when they left SM they suddenly become rookies”
I 100% agree with you >.<
UNBELIEVABLE.!
This is pissed me off.
I am still tweeting to above music shows to include them. Until they block me! #Justice4JYJalready!!!
I think LoenMusic, ArirangWorld, SBSPopAsia, TheGrammys have seen the increased amount of views they have gotten from interviews with Xia……if only this could be conveyed to the main media!
We just have to keep up the pleas……..KEEP THE FAITH!!!
So after all this no change well aready expect this. people that big and have power stil rule but what good if you big and have power when u dont have heart at the end people that have heart and love will win. be waiting for that day though cross fingers
sigh. this shws how tyrannical tt ‘super power company’ is. pity their artistes for wrking for this company though.
there’s just saying this as an alibi… so many excuses…
sigh, whatever lol for me, i don’t need and i don’t want to see jyj on Korea TV station anymore. all of them and their programs are crap and i don’t want jyj joining the crap. thank you.
This is the stupidist crap I have ever read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What sense does any of this make!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so obvious with all the many fan requests, that if any of the stations would have Junsu on that their ratings would be so sky rocket high. I just cannot believe somebody would make such a stupid business decision on purpose, dummies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Korean PDs stop bending over for SM/sooman, instead man up, like a real man would, and give him his right to perform his Album’s music on those music shows of yours, Junsu worked so Hard for this Album, it ranked first in 8 countries, 5th on World Billboard, how can you not invite him on your music shows ? someone tell soo man to tell his company to back off this blacklist, FTC said SM should stop so why the Chairman doesn’t obey FTC order ? And these PDs, how can they get away with this injustice they are doing ? Can FTC also issue warning for these PDs behavior. This is not acceptable behavior from PDs, ignoring viewers demands. Can fans petition broadcast stations ? or PDs or something or someone ?
totally agree with you!! im not korean but an avid fan of jyj. and i am truly saddened by the injustices SM mgnt has been doing to jyj. it just shows how very much threatened and insecure and bitter Lee Soo Man is. he is such a bad sport!! it is my wish that koreans will someday soon unite and help end jyj’s predicament. i have high regard and respect for koreans. im sure you wont tolerate this kind of unfair play and injustice. koreans should be able to watch on Tv who they want to watch. to all jyj supporters, know that i am with u all the way.
jyj, fighting !!!
jyj supporters, fight on!!!!
It’s so sad to hear that the situation hasn’t improved for JYJ. Finally, it all boils down to power and economics. SM having so much power and so much control over the industry is the reason the PDs are all so scared of offending them by inviting JYJ. I hope a day comes where a JYJ song catches world attention like “Gangnam Style” or something and the PDs have no option but to invite them. But the harder and more realistic option is to keep working hard and try to build your stature in the industry. Even the biggest empires have fallen. Junsu’s second album has got more publicity than his first in Korea and he is becoming an established musical actor. Yoochun and Jaejoong’s acting careers may help them get an even wider fanbase in the future which will all add to JYJ’s purchasing power.
In history, there have been so many times when people have struggled against an oppressor with no visible improvement on the surface. But then suddenly out of nowhere, a breakthrough comes and the tide turns. I think the general feeling in Korea is growing that JYJ should appear on TV. It has become a self-evident truth. One day, the PDs will have no choice but to acknowledge it. I hope the Korean and international fans keep on fighting against the monopolization of Korean entertainment industry. This unholy matrimony between Korean TV stations and companies have to end for the good of Korean entertainment itself. The fight is hard and the enemy is really strong, patience and persistence are the only weapons we have. But they have dethroned many a stronger tyrant than this.
i super agree with your thoughts!!
as always, good will defeat evil.
COWARD PUPPETS…
Keeping silence when you know someone is being bullied is already a bully himself. Keep on following your master blindly and you’ll find one day you’re falling in a deeper situation. Goodluck on that pds and SK stations.
Korean goverment should start getting interested in countrie’s corrupted broadcasting companies.They are harming country’s honour in such a shameful way in front of the whole world,this situation must be considered as a crime against human rights,democracy and freedom.Who rules the country,is it SM or a democratic goverment ? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!
Honestly, SM (and the other large companies) holds the power right now, whether anyone cares to admit it or not. PDs of shows will not give up SM people for JYJ; even if JYJ is 3/5 of what was once the largest boyband of Asia, the Korean industry has survived four years without them.
From a business standpoint, there’s no question about this situation. From a fan’s standpoint, this is unfair and borderline unlawful, but in the Kpop entertainment system, this outcome is just logic. It’ll either be that the music companies (SM, etc) stop caring/decide to be merciful or the three main broadcasting channels band together to allow JYJ onto their shows.
Can’t see either of those happening, honestly.
@Angelis sad, unfair and so true. but i will continue to root for talented JYJ, support them and love them unconditionally.
Surely there are enough bands from other companies than SM to keep the music show rosters full for quite awhile. None of the bands I like are with SM. If SM pulls their musicians, their musicians suffer too from lack of broadcast. This is really, really silly. I suspect that SM is actually paying PDs some kind of bonus in actual money to not put JYJ on their shows.
We/someone should turn Pres. Obama’s daughters on to JYJ, then get them invited to White House for a special concert. That might shake things up a bit.
I like this idea @shahera5, just invite them here, we love and support JYJ<333
Oh! Thank you for saying what I was thinking! Also… if a young relative of Beyonce or Jay-Z could get them to notice the injustice (and JYJ’s talent) and collaborate with JYJ. Just dreaming…
As long as consumers of Kpop continue to support SM entertainers, SM will continue to have this kind of power.
This is why I’m not a fan of Exo or Shinee. Even though I love some of their songs I just can’t support them. I won’t even watch their videos on SM’s you tube channel.
You go Cheryl…
You go Cheryl. I echoed your comment loudly. I think supporting SM artists is morally wrong because that’s supporting SM’s illicit business.
i was really sad on this..really
i’ve just read it before when FTC ordered SM do not interfere with the activities of JYJ, SM answered that they did’nt do that. So if JYJ allow to be broadcast it’s means SM interfere before and what FTC’s claiming is true.
FTC caught SM red-handed, the letters SM sent to stations asking them to not invite JYJ to their shows, is physical evidence enough, it’s not just talk FTC was talking about, FTC works on proof before it speaks. And It’s this same proof, if we reveal these facts, then everyone will know for sure that SM indeed is behind JYJ being prohibited from appearing on music shows like these, inkigayo musicbank Mcountdown and others. What FTC said to SM is also directed to SM’s chairman, sooman. Why sooman isnt getting any heat from media on his Companies involvement in Blocking JYJ.
Do these PDs have a twitter or facebook account, we should flock them in public, to make them hear our voice about their behavior.
Lets start a hashtag like #KORENMEDIASUCKS make it top hashtag for entire day then whole world will know about it, ofcouse facebook too we must share about his incident
#KORENMEDIASUCKS you may not see this important but you know wallstreet protests began with social media…
You fucking coward!! AT TIME LIKE THIS I REALLY HATE SM!!
is it possible for us…the fans all around the world to do something to pressure the broadcasting channel there? anything that we as a fan can help? what can we do? please someone come out with extraordinary plans and make SM eat their shit back! i really hate this. i was so happy knowing that the issue over JYJ have been solved after years waiting. and now this broadcasting channel or people got no balls to say no to SM?? DAMN IDIOT ASSHOLE SM! i really really really hate this!!!
Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu be strong…JYJ forever!
@ tutaste said social media, she is right, we need to turn to media about this. What about USA Today, How can we make them report on this PDs behavior ? Does that even help ? I wish they target Lee sooman since he is the chairman of SM. Incredible ranked 5 on world billboard, yet these PDs turn a blind eye and not invite him while they invite others with lesser achievements?
If we start a move like make top topic #KOREANMEDIASUCK for one day or two days, people will begin to ask what is it then other countries broadcasts will make news about it then we share that news in korean news portals, and koreans will see it, then they will know how their reputation effected from this. You know occupywallsteet began like that and whole world knew about it
Yes! A global flash! I’d suggest a positive spin though… #SUPPORTJYJ, #BROADCASTJYJ, #JYJONTV, #JYJ>sm… (oh, I guess that’s not too positive.)
I just don’t want to sit and watch things goes on like that. Even If I am just one fan, I want to to smtg
If I were fans in korea, I would take screen shots of all those requests and send them to the ftc too. Once these shows start getting hit with huge fines they will put them on. Money is the only thing people like that understand.
Next they should start a petition saying they will not view these shows until jyj/junsu appears on them. If they could get support from other fanclubs it would be huge. Power is in viewership. That is how these PDs keep their job. Put them in feat of losing that and they will rethink their position
Guys, go Nate article http://news.nate.com/view/20130730n13788 and leave your comments
It’s difficult to deal with this ugly situation
JYJ fighting .. JYJ fans fighting
Done. Thank you for the link.
Done 🙂
There I was wondering about the silence. It’s kind of a norm since it’s JYJ’s situation we are talking about here… but I can’t help but hope for a miracle. I must be dumb to expect anything from them. Anyhoo, FIGHTING!! No expectations, but still keeping up the fighting spirit!!!
On the other hand, I can’t help but want to travel down to SK again just to slap the person who compared JYJ with any rookie group. JYJ ain’t no rookie!!! HELL they were/still are your idols’ idols!!! F this shit!!
I actually don’t think they were comparing JYJ to a rookie group. I think they were just stating about how many groups there are and how much competition to appear on the shows (god know what ‘favours’ some poor groups are giving), but having said that, I think there are so so many groups out there and many of them are great, why should the pds care about having sm groups on their shows? To honest, I think their groups are quite overhyped and I’m sure there are just as many other exciting and talented groups that people would love to see performing. The pds should actually be in the postion of power over the record company.
… Do I sound like I’m belittling the new groups? Just don’t take it that way. Am not lashing out at the other groups. Perhaps ‘comparing’ isn’t the appropriate word. Am just saying that the read left me thinking that the ‘D’ guy meant that the new groups are having a hard time but still getting there yet JYJ isn’t even near close. Therefore, perhaps the new groups stand a better chance… its pretty straightforward and clear cut. Which is sad.
Then again, JYJ’s doing fine either ways. They always have… so no point rising hopes just to get them crashed you know. Peace.
@jyjxoxo I understood what you said and it’s clear that PDs try to belittle. The thing is Incredible ranked 5th on World Billboard, Not a single solo artist in this period with Junsu, or returned with a comeback with Junsu, has reached this achievement. So how can they invite them and not invite Junsu who has bigger achievements than them. Artist with less rankings and less achievements got invited but not Junsu ? Incredible Also ranked 1st in many countries’s i-tunes, and ranked high in many local korean rankings, yet those with lesser rankings appeared on their shows but not Junsu. All of Junsu’s ranks are high, either 1st, 2nd or within the highest rankings. Yet those with less, got invited. They didn’t even get Grammys attention like Junsu done, not ranked 5th on worldbillboard like Junsu did. Where are these PDs brains ? If they don’t know how to judge based on achievements then they should not be working as PDs if they don’t use logic. We should list Junsu’s achievements for these stupid PDs since they don’t have sense and logic to recognize top notch professional talent, but recognize who achieve less and rank less. There is nothing wrong to invite those who achieves less weather in rank or sales, but it’s totally wrong to not invite who achieves more in ranks and sales. It’s not fair to exclude hardworking famous artist like Junsu and JYJ. They always rank higher than most artist but PDs invite those who rank less than them.
Maybe the issue is that these sales are international and he’s apparently doing less well in Korea.
I have been comparing the activities of Kim Hyun Joong who released his video 7/18 and album 7/29 (I think). All the shows he’s been on and activities he’s done — Guerilla Date, Inkagayo, talk show appearances, etc. His fans have worked very hard to get him some of these and I am also his fan. BUT — the comparison to the broadcast visibility of Junsu just makes me bitter and my blood boil. Junsu’s song wasn’t even listed on the Korean charts when it first released, right? Not until after the FTC ruling came out.
@Shahera5
And those who ranked below Junsu yet got invited ? are doing better than Junsu to have been invited ? When Junsu tops them isn’t doing better than them ? if he topped the majority, it means he is doing better than them. yet those who ranked below him, are the ones who got invited. you seem to choose one or two who ranked above him and forgot he tops the majority himself, without TV promotions too.
Junsu, is not promoted for you to compare him to someone who does get promoted on TV on regular and constant bases. Junsu is doing better than MOST kpop idols who Do get promoted on TV and radio shows unlike him, mind you, you chose to compare him to one or two who topped him and forgot he topped the majority, please don’t use that kind of comparison that gives a wrong idea to readers that puts his image down. The person you mentioned did not get on Billboard or receive recognition from the Grammys for their album like Junsu did. So in fact, in comparison to that you mentioned, Junsu is doing better, he must have a larger fandom and achieved bigger sales if he got ranked 5th on world albums, ranked 1st on China and Japan, and 8 other countries while the idol you mentioned did not. It’s laughable to say Junsu is not doing well. If he ranked 1st in many country. Also if he ranked 12 on Inkigayo but someone who ranked Less than him got invited by PDs and was promoted on TV, while still below Junsu, then there is no reason for anyone here to say that Junsu is not doing well in comparison to. If he is 12, someone is 13, 14 and 15 and are praised for ranking 15 when Junsu got 12 on inkigayo yet no show promoted him like they did to those who ranked below him. Truth is we know they must have manipulated Junsu’s rank to make it look low on inkigayo. You choose one or two or three who topped but forget the majority that Junsu Tops.
Forgetting those who top get heavy promotions on those stations when Junsu doesn’t get promoted at all on any of those stations. Please look at the ones who he does top. Korean pop industry is deception, they want to make you think he isn’t doing well but thanks to international ranking who don’t lie, he topped over 8 countries ranking 1st. Even locally he ranked higher than the majority without Promotions on KBS SBS MBC and Mnet music shows. How do you expect him to get more fans if he has not been treated fair ? Most people watch TV to watch music shows, not the internet. Stop saying he isn’t doing well compared to and to. This sentence does not help Junsu get on TV.So please you and others refrain from making un-supportive sentences that can be used by PDs to not invite Junsu. His sales not doing well ? BS oh, you mean not doing well compared to…. BS let that guy you mentioned get 5th on world billboard first before you say Junsu’s sales not doing well. Some of you forget that World billboard means more sales and more fans world wide. Junsu has a large fandom and his Album ranked 1st in many countries. https://jyj3.net/2013/07/15/info-130715-xias-incredible-is-incredible-topping-itunes-charts-in-various-countries/
and don’t forget China and Japan’s Tower record. Junsu is doing great, his album a success, so these PDs must invite him, they can’t runaway with petty stupid excuses to reject him. Solo artist are getting invited so why not Junsu when his album is AMONG the Hot since there are fans who think 5th on billboard and ranking 1st in 8 countries, means he is not doing well in sales. and Ranking 2nd in local physical sales means success in Korea by the way. So don’t diss that out by comparing his sales to and to, the number is there, #2 in physical sales mean local success, means he is doing well locally period and despite having not allowed a chance to promote on TV yet . Think if he was promoted on TV , he would have ranked 1st and not 2nd. And why don’t you and others say about who ranked below him at 3, 4, 15 in sales, yet they got promoted and invited by PDs when they are below 2.
There is no excuse and no reason to not invite Junsu on TV and no reason and no excuse to not promote him long before that on TV especially when they have already invite and promote those who ranked Below him.
Whoa! Please chill. In no way did I mean for any of my words to be critical of Junsu. Of course there’s no earthly reason not to put Junsu on Korean TV shows. But I do think it’s important to remember that they are Korean TV shows and if Koreans are anywhere close to as insular as most Americans are, they most likely don’t care very much what’s happening in other places.
I think it is useful for fans to have as complete a picture of what’s going on as possible, both good and not so good. I don’t know Korean – yet – so I am dependent on others for translations and information. I apologize if any of my comments were hurtful to Junsu, whom I admire with all my heart, or JYJ.
@applexia
“Junsu is doing better than MOST kpop idols who Do get promoted on TV and radio shows ”
The statement I quoted is nothing more than the honest truth and in fact – I’m trying to think of another of the current crop of idols who has done better than Junsu… Rain is about all I can come up with. Yes, this is the diabolical paradox that we are faced with now: WITHOUT promotions Junsu has become a worldwide celebrity, a solid gold, sure-thing box office bonanza for any show that can get him and he is a millionaire several times over. WITH promotions, WITH the ability to appear on the TV music shows you have idols like Jonghyun of SHINee (pretty famous and a good singer) who’s out there working his ass off, pulling WAY more of the vocal weight in that group and getting everything split up so many ways by the time he gets his microscopic percentage….. and he probably personally owns nothing, just as superstars in Asia DBSK did when JYJ left SM.
So puzzle this one out if you can. My take on it is this: JYJ and certainly Junsu DOESN’T really need to be on the TV music shows. We only want them to because it’s the only fair, correct and respectful thing to be done now and because THEY want to be on them. It is NOT because they need to or are missing anything REAL or essential to them by NOT being on them.
@Lilibaiyu
There is no singer who doesn’t need TV. They need to get included in the music scenery as kpop artists, like other singers do. It doesn’t have to be in Korea, it can be in Japan. This is not about money, this is about performing their music where it can be seen nationwide. It was because of TV that Cassiopia was created. We are still the largest fandom, but If JYJ are allowed TV appearance as singers, not as actors, their fandom will grow larger than its original size around the time of the ban. TV is what got other idols up in ranks. youtube uploads were uploads of TV shows,The TV ban hides real talent. We know about Junsu because he DID appear on TV long ago. Online is not enough, it really isn’t.
Let me explain something, Do you see this site JYJ3 ? how many fans view this site ? over millions right ? but go to twitter and look how many follow JYJ3 ? a few thousands of followers, not even a million. Because loging in your ID and Password is a hassle to most of those millions that view this site. The same with TV and Internet. What I’m trying to say, is that the type of venue matters a great deal in earning audience. Majority of People don’t have time to check out all type of venues, they use the easiest venue they can access for quick show, and that’s TV Not the internet, not everyone has time to open their computer for entertainment purpose on a daily basis, unlike TV. TV get you more audience than the internet because it’s a simple click with no more effort nor task as you sit on the comfy couch. And It’s a better resolution than on small screen laptops that most people own.
@applexia
Well I read what you wrote and quite carefully. Did you happen to read what I wrote? Because you are talking about a lot of theoretical stuff, your perceptions of how things would seem to work in the entertainment business and received wisdom of “how it is” and what I am talking about is reality – how it is right now.
Again, here’s what I wrote: WITHOUT promotions Junsu has become a worldwide celebrity, a solid gold, sure-thing box office bonanza for any show that can get him and he is a millionaire several times over. That’s reality. That’s what has happened in the last 3 years. And as I said, no idol with the possible exception of Rain can touch that level of fame and $ucce$$.
So let me ask you: exactly how much more successful do you need Junsu to be? Isn’t what he has accomplished in the last 3 years a positively astounding level of success and riches, with the end nowhere in sight? As I also said, all the idols in the SM stable, the “fortunate ones” who go on the music shows are working their asses off 12 months a year for pitiful leavings money-wise. Is that “success” to you? Is their false success, their glamorous outward appearance of “success” more valid to you somehow because they’re on TV in Korea? Cassiopeia’s bought the SM sales pitch, back when DBSK were together and of course now as well. I didn’t then and don’t now. My definition of success has nothing to do with whether you go on Music Bank or not. In fact, that come in near the bottom of the list. At the top, btw is “As an artist, are you happy, doing work you choose and work you love in a supportive creative environment?” Number 2. is “Is your work engrossing, are you attacking it passionately, is it well received and are you fairly rewarded for your successes?”
Please let me assure you: the be all end all to an artist of Junsu’s caliber is NOT going to be whether he goes on these music shows or not. Yes, it would be fun. Yes, Junsu wants to go on. Those 2 things are the only reasons I can possibly possibly think of as being any kind of a mitigating factor here.
@applexia and everyone else
Erm… Junsu’s still doing well. He still does really well in Korea too if I do not say so myself. His digitals might not be impressive but his physical album sales still do pretty well. That is good enough for him if you think about it. After all, albums are often more costly. He has a stable fan base and I am happy for him.
Remember guys, Junsu released this album with his expectations, we try to meet up is all. He knows there are haters and whatnots that can’t wait to bring him down yet he wants to do it because he likes producing music. Refer to “the song is funny”, I think the message he is sending out is pretty obvious.
180000 sings were there in the petition but why don’t we start a movement. Just sit and commenting like this do not help to jyj
@tutaste yah you’re right we have to start a movement…..
i’ll join you guys.
I’ll join too! We’re stronger in numbers!
@tutaste you right, who do we petition ? can we use media as a medium to send our voice ? Can we petition famous people to help and get involved. Like you said 180000 fans petitioned FTC and FTC spoke up. FTC didn’t stay silent like these PDs , my head is running with ideas but I’m too confused and don’t know what is best way to act. sooman is the chairman of SM, he should receive heat from media about FTC talking about his company’s involvement in blocking JYJ. Media should question sooman, fans should question sooman about his company’s behavior effecting these PDs behavior. All korean media says backdoor pressure, they know there is a power involved in blocking JYJ. FTC announced who this backdoor pressure is. It’s silly and stupid for anyone to say SM/sooman has nothing to do with this when the FTC already spoke it’s SM and it’s known that SM’s chairman is sooman.
lets discuss what can we do
what about a petition to MBC KBS AND SBS
And ministries ?
Link for the Korean consulate in New York http://usa-newyork.mofat.go.kr/english/am/usa-newyork/main/index.jsp
Can we petition them would it help, or other ministries. I’m sorry I’m ignorant, I don’t understand these things, but we have to do something to publicize this continuous mistreatment SM is doing. first the slave contract and now the career harassment.
I like what Rasha suggested, petition the stations, but can we use media as a medium too, so they would know who we petition and why, and what we are petitioning for. But I too, think that involving politicians is very important for them to help JYJ, because this abuse has gone too far, this is clear and evident career harassment, bullying and un-fair treatment.
I think fans have already made a petition for kbs , the link is below
http://www.change.org/petitions/kbs-allow-jyj-to-air-and-participate-on-kbs-programs?utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=share_petition
I signed it. I have posted in comments at the end of the page some useful tweeter accounts one of them for the president of SK and another one for a famous politicins. The rest r for celebrities. Hope many fans well tweet and we may creat a little fuss around this issue
@applexia
Here’s a petition you can sign TODAY for KBS: http://www.change.org/petitions/kbs-allow-jyj-to-air-and-participate-on-kbs-programs?utm_source=supporter_message&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=petition_message_notice
@Rasha @Lilibaiyu, Thank you for the link, hope more fans learn about this link, most fans may not know this petition even exist, I just learned about this now. Thanks again, I’m on it.
Wow, I’m so pissed right. If I ever found out who D is, I’ll fucking castrate him.
Is there anything we can do? All JYJ fans from all over the world should unite together and do something. My heart hurts so much to see this cruelty T_T If I could help….
Ok fan strike how long will it take to make a difference if we stop watching their shows ok I am not in Korea but I can help by posting the name of the stations that refuse to play them maybe just maybe world wide attention will get us some attention hit the wallets people and they will pay attention… If someone would be so nice as to name all the stations in Korea…. I know MBC what are the others. Or specific programs that have spoke out against them.. Kriss you know them all give them to me…
This situation really puts South Korea entertainment to shame. I was holding my breathe after the FTC made its announcement and wondered how much influence they would have on the powerful players of this rotten industry. I don’t usually feel strongly about certain situations but at this point, I really don’t care much for the South Korean market. I know the pride it brings to be able to come out and perform on your own country’s music shows but the boys have survived 4 years without it, yet their fans just kept growing. How huge is the Korean population really that we should even care if they perform there of not (no offense to our South Korean neighbors or to JYJ themselves)? Also, if others find it entertaining to watch teenagers sing cookie cutter songs, isn’t JYJ above all that? The boys are international artists, with fans as young as teenagers to mothers/grandmothers, from Asia to the Americas to Europe. If they maximize their reach (they haven’t performed here in the Philippines!), everyone (even Koreans) would start recognizing them and insist on their freedom to perform. I join the whole international JYJ fandom in pursuing this position, let JYJ perform and show all just how much they are loved and admired all over the world! South Korea, you have just lost sons who you should have been extremely proud of, but have delivered to the whole world the best gift ever. JYJ, the best!
Reblogged this on JYJ's Fan Worlds and commented:
‘sigh’ today is my b’day yet this kind news is come out…..
thank to u PDs for decrease my happiness today…….
i pray that our boys gonna be more popular day by day till those people doesn’t have any choice except invite our boys……amien……
Because of all this issues/ruckus cause by all this cowards, when the time arrives for JYJ to appear on TV won’t it be awkward for them and the others? After 4 years of absence… People might act careful around them to prevent trouble for themselves. Will they respect JYJ as individuals? FYI, JYJ is not even the criminal here and yet they they’re being treated as such. I don’t understand why. For example look at KHD. (You know who) He’s the criminal who has tax evasion crime. After 2-3 years he’s back on several programs on TV w/o restrictions at all. NOT FAIR!!!
If I’m not mistaken, Kang Ho Dong was granted not guilty, because it was his accountant who didn’t do his tax calculation correctly. He went on the usual reflection period like we use to hear after a celebrity engaged in a controversial situation (example : Park Shi Ho and his sexual harassment of a trainee, Nickhun and his drunk driving accident). KHD even stated that he will retire from the showbiz. Now he joins with SM, and we witness how many SM’s peoples are occupying the MC position for variety shows…
JYJ was not even engaged in such things like above mentioned, yet JYJ get all the more hurtful treatment than all of them combined. This kind of thing also doesn’t make any sense to me.
Because they challenged the power structure. And they’ve done well financially by doing so, better than many, if not most, other idols. This scares the powers that be who want to be the ones making the money.
@ ai uta (@lovesongeighty6)
Because JYJ fought against slave contracts and fought against the status quo (i.e. the stiff hierarchy of executives over artists). It’s ashamed that SM runs South Korea by its money and connections.
@ai uta
Yes, JYJ’s situation is an entirely different kettle of fish. In their case they were fighting against the scandalous wrong-doing perpetrated by the company that owned them like slaves. And what did we see as a result: was SM banned from having their acts on TV during the years of the lawsuit? No. The victims of the wrong-doing were banned. In fact, did SM face ANY consequences whatsoever for their wrong-doing? NO. It was the victims who were punished. And they continue to be punished. This is why we must fight.
Have been thinking about what might have an impact. In U.S. if people are upset about a show they will target the advertisers who advertise on the show. They will flood the advertisers’ Facebook page with comments linking them to the injustice perpetrated by the show, organize boycotts of their products, spread the word all through the internet. Often the advertiser decides to stop advertising on the show. The show loses advertisers. The lack of sponsors/advertisers forces the show to change what it’s doing.
Would this at all work in Korea? Are these shows supported by advertisers? Essentially it needs to be monetarily painful for shows not to have JYJ on.
great idea… an outside pressure may have an unexpected impact.
I like your idea. Although we’re not quite sure if this will work. And the tactic, as you’ve said, should be monetarily painful because at this point I highly doubt we could further appeal their conscience since culturally their priorities are different.
It will be a very sad day when fans give up on this fight for JYJ to be treated fairly in the SK music industry. I remember this quote “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. No effort is too small and we can always contribute in our own way, whether it is by tweeting, emailing, voting etc. So let’s not lose hope!
We won’t give up. Right everyone? We got this! It’s for our Guys we got their backs! Loen sure caved when they heard our voices.
@ Cheryl
We won’t give up. I hope JYJ fans won’t become like JTL fans. JTL fans faded out because SM’s blacklisting was overwhelming. Go Team JYJ!
I never give up love our boys hwaiting.
Here’s another idea. I have noticed a lot of celebrities (Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, etc.) promoting movies on TV shows in Korea. Would it be possible for fans to explain JYJ situation to them and get them to wear a JYJ logo button when they appear on these shows? Perhaps even say a few words if asked about why they are wearing button. Most of these celebrities are concerned about artistic freedom.
DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
Koreans care too much about image (note JYJ makes SM look bad so SM shuts all doors to JYJ) and think Western culture is superior (note that Korean artists always seek out American choreographer and songwriters). That said, if we can have any western celebrities advocate JYJ, it might do the trick. I am dead serious about this. Sorry for the Korean stereotype because we fans need to put SM on its knees. SM thinks it is above the law. Stupid SM.
@ee3451
I would venture to say that all international fans see SM for exactly what they are. An entrenched criminal enterprise. Koreans may be fooled, or too nationalistic to admit it’s true, but we see; we see quite clearly.
@ lilibaiyu
I really hope you are right. I talked to many ignorant people who don’t know SM’s true ugly face. We really have to spread the word.
Yes they are MONSTERS hiding behind a veneer of corporate dignity 1 peg at a time until there is nothing left to hind behind dismantle them piece by piece nothing would be left but a shell of a men. smile.
I suggest to tweet to jae suck. He is a good man and i think he will help us. Does anybody know wt his twitter account is?
I twitted rickey garveas an bill maher right now
I hope these broadcasting companies realize that they own practically a monopoly over the music industry. What pressure will you REALLY be receiving from SM? If SM decides to “boycott” these broadcasting companies, say like, not appear on their music shows, who will this really hurt, but themselves? Whether or not these music programs allow JYJ or not, SM is still going to bring their artists on board, or else they won’t be able to promote their artists’ albums and their work. Like really, be realistic.
I agree with this – the broadcasting pds should realise that they are the ones in the position of power, not sm.
@parkc
“If SM decides to “boycott” these broadcasting companies, say like, not appear on their music shows, who will this really hurt, but themselves? ”
I agree with you and I’ve always felt that way. SM is going to have all their acts not appear on TV all of a sudden because of JYJ?? Won’t that be just the least little bit obvious that they are attempting to influence the broadcasters, DIRECTLY after the “correction” they just got from the KFTC?
Once again, I have to say, this is just CRAZY that this kind of thing is actually going on! What the hell!??
@Gh_park i just twitted the president of SK and ‘m going to target politician as well
Has anyone requested any US tv stations for JYJ, like Ellen DeGeneres? I know she’s always up for a good cause.
I did , i sent this msg to many including ellen “Can u plz help JYJ-famous SK group get blocked by tv media since 2009- to appear on tv? JYJ has a huge fan base in & out k”
YES!!! I wrote a post on JYJ3 awhile ago for us to petition Ellen to get JYJ on her show! Ellen is always up for a good cause. She’s honest and direct. LETS DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where can I find this post? I just feel like it should be something a bit formal and convincing, like also providing a link to one of their concert performances.
@ Lidia Castro
I suggested reaching out to Ellen. I didn’t setup a petition if that’s what you’re asking. I agreed with the formality because I want Ellen or any 3rd party thinking that we’ve a legitimate human rights issue at hand (i.e. traditional notions of fair play and substantial justice).
Guys tweet @plaid_kimoon he is a famous politician and a decent man
Wow, you know your stuff Rasha. Impressive. Yes, lets tweet at him too.
tsk tsk. korean media s*** so much. what chickens. i wanna fry em up and seasoned them for junsu to munch!
no channel gutsy enough to challenge the ‘big company’?
what a let down, korea.

U can help too by signing this petition as well. I didnt do it but i found it somewhere. Around 700 fans signed it al ready
This petition was created a year ago. How relevant is it? I mean, could we still use signatures from last year? I am not doubting. I support any initiative that would make SM stop thinking that it’s above the law. Stupid SM.
@ee3451
Yes, it’s still active, I just heard from the creator Julia today. It’s still good and it’s going forward. Fighting!
Done anything else also what do you guys think about me passing out flyers at the Korean feast in Chicago.
@greyfox
Flyers? I like the idea! Everybody who loves JYJ and wants to see change needs to do something – it could be a big thing or a small thing. But something. That way, when JYJ has another breakthrough in their restricted career we ALL get to feel like we helped make it possible. It’s a great feeling and everybody here deserves to share in it.
🙂
@ lilibaiyu and @ Rasha
You mentioned that this petition has been up for over a year and remains active. Curious, what hasn’t this petition been delivered yet? If you delivered it, how was it delivered?
In addition to a petition, I suggest massive media reach out. Is there a director of publicity or director of public relations or the alike on the JYJ3 Board?
Thanks for giving a list of who to tweet. Your post should be advertise to all JYJ fans more so our pressure could be more focus. Thanks again!
I bet it sould. who remembers stope #cony campaign!!! I wish someone can do the same.
@greyfox that would be great
Korea! is not a developed country…It’s still Old Choson!…..their doing isn’t based on law n justice,it’s still based on relations!…I’m really sorry
“it’s harder for for a rookie singer to meet the PD just once than to record an album. In this kind of structure, there’s no reason for broadcast PDs to even care about JYJ.”
“ROOKIE” ???????
“EVEN CARE about JYJ” ???????????????????
WTFFFFFFFFF you BRAINLESS morons ????????????????????????????!!!!!!!
UNbelievable !!!!!!! seriously……..ahhhhhhhhhhhh >_< no words !!!!!!!!!!
The JYJ fandom is not stupid. Everybody knows that the CEO of SM is behind this vicious campaign to block JYJ from all broadcasts. He’s a snake–and it appears he has no intention of being anything else. This guy needs serious therapy–he would rather block JYJ even after he promised not to interfere with their activities and his company was reprimanded by the Fair Trade Commission. This is UNBELIEVABLE! My heart goes out to JYj–it looks like they still have roadblocks in their way. Keep fighting, boys! All of your Korean and international fans support you all the way!
@ShirleyUSA
Hi Shirley – Yep, it’s pretty freakin’ unbelievable. That is the perfect word. So when it comes to JYJ, these TV stations all of a sudden don’t give a damn about what their viewers think??? Is that what we’re saying here? Even KBS, a government owned and run public station, when it comes to JYJ, says “Screw the public and what they want, we’re doing what we feel like.” ??? Huh??
One very bright note, for me anyway – the reporter who tracked this story down, asked the tough questions and named names and went the distance with his/her reportage. Three Cheers for that person!
Sometimes I wonder for all the good that JYJ fans are doing, are we making it worse for them?? We want them seen and heard in the very places where that aren’t welcomed, no matter who is behind the reason. Are they tellingme that they’re no other companies as powerful as SM?? If theyre gone on these shows…my mind would suspect ulterior motives…
What’s the catch??
Frodo Baggins brought down Lord Sauron with the help of his friends, so I guess we keep fighting too 🙂
We, JYJ fans, are NOT making it worse for JYJ. And I am not ignorant about this. The first group that SM blacklisted was JTL (three guys that broke away from H.O.T.). Because JTL fans didn’t do much except throw eggs at SM building out of protest, JTL and its fandom faded within one year due to SM’s blacklisting. Because of JYJ fans’ pressure for four years already, we are able to help JYJ continue to pursue their careers and help JYJ name be alive.
I was just wondering….Its not like we have real proof that they are being black listed by SM only. But they are getting all the blame. It seems to me that its bigger than SM or do they really have that much power?? Do you know how messed up that would be?? Blamng the wrong folks…just a thought~*
My problem is this…for all our efforts we are putting in to get them seen on tv shows…..I don’t want to expose them to anymore cruelty from fake tv hosts and whack ass production companies, because they want high ratings.
In short..I will keep helping… I love these guys……..I just want them respected as the Kings they are. 🙂
@ pinky lee
I understand your comment. I read about SM’s illicit acts for over a decade. Yes, SM has that much power because of money and connections. Blacklisting is a reality in South Korean and Japan. JYJ isn’t the the first and isn’t the few who are blacklisted.
@ee3451
“Yes, SM has that much power because of money and connections. ”
Well, it’s true. They do. They are the most powerful, most entrenched, most connected entertainment company in SK. They have powerful ties with the SK government. Their stocks are owned by the government’s Pension & Welfare for the Elderly in SK. So if their stock goes down, so do grandma and grandpa. Over the years, LSM has made it his business to firewall himself and his little band of criminals six ways from Sunday because he KNOWS what he is doing is inherently indefensible were it truly to come to light. He has positioned himself at the forefront of the Hallyu Wave because by promising big economic strides and world recognition for SK he has hit squarely upon the country’s patriotic vanity and desire to excel globally. By like token, S. Koreans do NOT want to be seen in any sort of negative light and possibly JYJ may threaten their perfect outer appearance to the rest of the world – and that may be a problem that we will have to address in the future.
@ lilibaiyu
I am really impressed by your knowledge. I didn’t about the government’s Pension & Welfare for the Elderly in SK. Wow.
@lilibaiyu
Mafia??
Thanks for the info…I knew SM have pull, just not this much. I did not realise to this extent either…..God. Makes me worried more.
How do you feel about them being invited on TV programs??
@ee3451
“I didn’t about the government’s Pension & Welfare for the Elderly in SK. Wow.”
Yeah. I know. What we’re saying is that SM is holding the elderly and infirm in front of them and yelling “If we go down, so does grandma and grandpa!” These are not nice people.
Thank you….I can always count on you to open my eyes to certain factors that are hidden.
Much love to you Lil 🙂
@pinky lee
“How do you feel about them being invited on TV programs??”
Well, my criteria for the health, happiness and well-being of an artist is a little different from others — I’m the first to admit that. By my checklist for how to gage if JYJ have achieved “Success” or not, being on SK music and variety shows is near the bottom. By any of my criteria, JYJ don’t need and will never need to be on these silly, probably rigged, juvenile shows. They are able to pursue their art with perfect freedom, they can work with exuberant passion and diligence and be absolutely guaranteed that their fans will love anything they release and will catapult them onto the charts. I hope we all appreciate that that is a rarity in Pop music, that maybe only about 1% of ALL working musicians, singers and bands can count on this. This is the power of the fans of JYJ. That’s why at every opportunity they say they love their fans and they thank us. We have boosted them up to the top 1% in the world. No matter what else happens, they can continue to do what they love to do and be very very very well taken care of. If Jaejoong is really buying $60,000 life-size Iron Man mannikins, at 28 years old this kid’s already got too much money. lol Contrast that with what was happening to him as plebe in the SM stable, way over-worked and under-compensated. JYJ will always be fairly paid, from now on. If they have a hit, they’ll get rich. Again, by contrast, we’re talking about the top 1% again. Most others are constantly racking their brains trying to figure out how on earth to keep going. The answer is usually constant touring and praying that they can figure out how write the next hit song but that is grueling and mentally and emotionally difficult. JYJ are the golden boys by my Artist’s Criteria for Happiness.
The reason to press for the TV show appearances is 1.) They want it – it’s important to them and they are now used to getting what they want. 2.) The inherent Wrongness of the situation. It’s the principle of the thing. What is happening runs afoul of everything right and decent. JYJ wasn’t the abuser – SM was! Why are THEY the ones to continue to be persecuted like this?
Aside from those 2 things, by my estimation, they’re doing pretty damned spectacularly.
🙂
I am reading this mouth wide open in agreement… Plus JYJ has better opportunities around the corner… I am dreaming bigger better things for our boys then a variety show…
I agree….But at times I feel like TV would ruin it for the us.
The Wowness might disappear….Halley’s Comet
I want them happy and every wish fulfilled too.
@pinky lee
“But at times I feel like TV would ruin it for the us. The Wowness might disappear”
I agree. There is much to be said for the outlaw rebels fighing on the vanguard of artistic freedom and simple decency – it reeks of romance and the thrill of rarity. Either way, our boys will NOT be hurting. Nothing can stop them now. SM’s worst imaginings for what they could become have AAALL come home to roost.
What also bothers me they have been asked anyway or not in that great demand to be on these shows.
I would like to hear C-jes comment on this.!!
I don’t understand why SM has so much power over them! Broadcasting stations are huge compared to SME, aren’t they? Why do they listen to them? What’s the threat? No more SNSD, SuJu, etc. Hello! this is Korea, a country were every year dozens and dozens of groups and artists debut and are hungry for the opportunity. I’m sure they’ll find someone to fill in the space. The ones that have more to lose from breaking this alliance that they have going on is SM not the stations since they need the mediums much more than a broadcasting station needs their artists.
I knew it was too good to be true but let’s keep fighting. JYJ Firghting!
TV appearances would be great and all but since JYJ continues to suffer from black-listing in South Korea TV, maybe they should produce their own show and live-stream it via Internet site —- viewership would be global not just in South Korea…I am pretty sure there are companies who would be willing to support such endeavor and advertise during their show — mainly because there is a global market that supports JYJ and that means a huge market for their products.
I know how important it is to see them perform in SK tv shows but no matter how hard fans petition for it, our voices can’t seem to breakthrough the thick earwax blocking PD ears. SO while we continue to petition, C-JES show JYJ via internet streaming….this way they continue to sing and perform — something they want to do so badly…and continue to be seen by their fans — not only in SK but around the world.
GIVE IT A SHOT CJES —- this could be a fun and challenging project for your creative staff! Fans will be no longer suffer from JYJ hunger, and JYJ will have the global exposure they deserve! Who knows — they may get invites to perform in shows around the world —- why limit them to SK TV shows that does not want to give them the stage they deserve? JYJ is no longer just SK artists they are international artists so they deserve to be seen internationally!
JYJ FIGHTING!
PEACE!
@Jade
“I know how important it is to see them perform in SK tv shows ”
Well, it’s not. It’s not important. Not in any real way – not in the reality that JYJ is currently living in. It is a completely optional possibility, not in any way crucial to their success or longevity as artists. Yes, many fans want it. They also want a lot of other things they’re not currently getting to enjoy. But many fans, mostly in Korea, want it. My suggestion to them is to send petitions, tweet the shows, write to the president, and if necessary demonstrate your numbers, carrying signs and picketing outside the TV stations. If you really want to see them on TV, make some noise! But I can assure you, nothing is going to stop JYJ from having long and incredibly successful careers, least of all not getting to appear on Music Core.
I agree it is not a necessity for JYJ since we all know their star value being beyond TV but still their fans in SK wants to see their artists perform and I am pretty sure JYJ wants to connect with their fans, as well – in SK and around the world. — It is important for both sides to be able to have that connection. That’s why, I was suggesting live-stream a JYJ show via internet – this way JYJ do not suffer from being kept in the dark! They have successfully used the internet to connect with fans in SK and around the world … why not continue with it … Sam Tsui, Kurt Schneider and Victoria Justice and other young American artists — they became popular via their YouTube sites and opened doors for them to guest in TV shows – Ellen, Today Show, build enough fan-base to justify concerts throughout the US and they did not need label backing for their albums because they had more than enough YouTube followers to support them!
JYJ can continue to do what they love to do – perform for their fans and connect with them via their own show streamed via internet! Why limit them to SK TV when there popularity is already global — they have the world as their stage now — let them be seen — the world is waiting!
@jade
“but still their fans in SK wants to see their artists perform and I am pretty sure JYJ wants to connect with their fans, as well – in SK and around the world. — It is important for both sides to be able to have that connection”
Yes, I agree and those are the sole reasons for this whole push to get them back on TV. Because the guys want it and because Korean fans say they’d enjoy it. That’s it. Any further importance to these 3 men’s long-term success is just NOT a factor. They are already doing brilliantly well and have EVERY indication of doing so in the future.
I hate SM. I hate all SM artists. Because I know that SM controls the media, I know that SM has the ability to influence viewers what to like and not. Once fans start liking SM artists, fans start to get torn between supporting SM artists and supporting what right (i.e. SM blacklisting is NOT right). I don’t get fans when they say that they hate SM but support SM artists. Supporting SM artists mean supporting SM’s way of business. And we all know that SM practices blacklisting for over a decade starting with JTL, the guys that broke away from HOT. I am not surprised that no one knows about JTL.
I need to vent. SM has to stop its illicit acts. When is karma going to kick in?
@ee3452
“Supporting SM artists mean supporting SM’s way of business.”
Yes. This is precisely right. Supporting SM artists is EXACTLY the same as supporting SM because the overwhelming share of the revenue goes right into SM coffers. The groups never see it. They are being cheated, lied to and deprived of seeing an actual accounting of royalties, we all know this, it’s what happened to DBSK. But still there are fans who want what they want and will rationalize accordingly.
Admin please help I only meant to post the states of jyj did not see the rest help delete all but states thank you
Soooo unfair!! I’m not going to watch those music programs anymore!!!! Those coward pd they afraid of SM coz SM is Successful Mafia
Why is Korean FTC not doing anything about this?
That is the question of our lifetime, isn’t it? Seriously, for over a decade, why is SM able to exert such great influence over TV and radio stations?! Everyone appears to know that SM blacklists yet they keep silent about it. We have to stop letting the big bully run the country!
@tootsiepops
“Why is Korean FTC not doing anything about this?”
Here’s an article from Time magazine in the U.S. Please take note of the dateline: July 29, 2002. It’s about SM, payola and the KFTC. As you’ll see, the KFTC have known ALL about SM for a long, long time. They’ve tried to intervene in the past.
http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,2056115,00.html
@ lilibaiyu
KFTC’s warnings and sanctions are still insufficient to deter SM’s illicit acts. SM needs to face punitive damages. (just in case no one knows, the purpose of punitive damages is different from compensatory damages, expectation damages, etc.)
SM stocks must go down!
Korean TV station are quick to ban Artiste from appearing in their Station but very slow to correct the right.
Not unless the Artiste join a super power Agency.
All the guts, morals and ethic of the person -in- charge from the TV station has gone down the drain.
JYJ can promote their comeback Album via MV in Youtube, FM, Fan sign & World Concert tour. They did it successfully without TV promotion.
However, it is their honor and their right to do so to win against the unfairness treatment.
Here’s one more FYI article. This one is a shocker, especially how little the artist makes from selling downloads.
Check it out:

The article should also emphasize this: illegal downloaded music –> no money for artist
