It’s been 10 years since singers Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu made their debut in the K-pop world.
The artists, who currently make up the idol group JYJ, showed K-pop fans that they’ve only gotten better and stronger as they performed for a total of 11,000 fans at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai over the weekend, according to the Korean news outlet Osen Entertainment.
As the group made their return to Shanghai in four years, the trio has vowed to work harder in releasing material as a group and solo entertainers.

HONG KONG — South Korea has selected “Sea Fog” (aka ‘Haemoo’) as its contender for the foreign-language Academy Awards race.
The film, directed by Shim Sung-bo, is a largely sea-borne tale of human desperation both on the part of economic refugees and the fishermen turned human smugglers who transport them across unsafe waters.
The selection is made by a specially convened committee organized by the Korean Film Council (KOFIC).
Production was by Lewis Kim with leading director Bong Joon-ho (“Snowpiercer”) as executive producer. International sales are by Finecut.
South Korea has had a huge impact on film-making in Asia in the past two decades, but no Korean film has ever been selected as an Oscar nominee.

JYJ Shanghai Concert, “It is strange that we could complete the event neatly”
“It’s difficult now that we’re older”…The Boys’ Talks.
Q: You were in Shanghai in 2010 and you returned only 4 years after. What are your feelings?
JS: I am looking forward to our communication with fans.
JJ: (After a long wait) Ah, yes! There is no need for interpretation for Korean reporters! (Normally during overseas concerts, the Korean artists will first say something and then the interpreter will relevantly interpret what was said.)
Q: What are your thoughts in standing on the stage of the opening ceremony of the Incheon Asian Games?
JJ: Firstly, it has been a really long time since the 3 of us last appeared on national broadcasting. During President Park Geun-hye’s inauguration we appeared for like, 2 seconds? (laughs)
YC: I wasn’t thinking about appearing on national broadcasting but as a performance. After coming down from the stage, the staffs all welled up in tears.
JJ: “You appeared a lot! You guys appeared a lot on TV!” (laughs) [T/N: JJ was repeating what staffs said to them]
YC: After the broadcast, we received congratulatory messages from our friends/acquaintances.
Q: Despite being the ambassadors of the Incheon Asian Games, there was a reversal with regards to your appearance in the opening ceremony and you have seemed to have been through a lot.

“JYJ!” “Jaejoong!” “Yuchun!” “Junsu!”
A Chinese audience of 11,000 people went delirious with the 3 guys’ voices and every one of their gestures. Saying “It was very beautiful” in Chinese and displaying feelings (of satisfaction) at fans’ reactions, the 3 guys sang and dancing passionately, resulting in their fans’ cheers even more. In the place was JYJ who shined much more on stage, entering in luminous colored-rays and with audience members watching the stage with twinkling eyes.
Group JYJ(Kim Jaejoong, Park Yuchun, Kim Junsu)’s 2014 Asia Tour < THE RETURN OF THE KING > was held in Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China in the afternoon of September 20. Visiting Shanghai under the name of JYJ after 4 years since their World Tour showcases for their 2010’s worldwide album < The Beginning >; the 3 guys finished their opening stage and asked, “We were jumping with all our strength and screaming excitedly; and hoped it was an enjoyable performance”.
JYJ has recently talked about their senior actors in their agency, C-JeS Entertainment.
At the press conference for their “2014 JYJ Asia Tour Concert in Shanghai – The Return of the King” held last September 20 in Shanghai, China, the JYJ members talked about their encounters with their fellow C-JeS Entertainment artists.
“After the broadcast, they tell us that they watched (our drama series) well,” said Kim Jaejoong when asked whether they receive some advice from the senior actors in their agency.
Kim Jaejoong added, “Kim Kang Woo hyung said, ‘I’m watching your drama well. I’m a JYJ fan.’ Also, some time ago, I met Lee Jung Jae hyung by chance at the cafeteria. Hyung somehow doesn’t check out other people’s dramas but he told me he watched my drama from the first episode until it finished. I receive a great amount of strength and encouragement with those words.”
Because there’s over 20 artists in the agency’s roster of talents, Kim Junsu said that most of them talk through online messengers. “Some time ago, Ra Mi Ran sunbae-nim (senior) sent me a message on Kakao Talk and said, ‘I just passed by Sinchon suddenly and I missed Junsu (you).’ It felt nice,” Junsu said. “When I first went to the workshop, I was scared. Because Sol Kyung Gu, Choi Min Sik, and Kwak Do Won are all impressionist actors, (I was scared) but when I got to know them, they’re all warm and good people. Everyone in the company really feels like family (to me),” added Junsu.
Aside from JYJ, C-JeS Entertainment has in its roster of artists talented actors such as Choi Min Sik, Sol Kyung Gu, Lee Jung Jae, Lee Bum Soo, Kwak Do Won, Kim Kang Woo, Song Ji Hyo, Ra Mi Ran, Jung Suk Won, and singer Gummy.
