Singer-and-musical-actor Kim Junsu was chosen at the No.1 spot for musical actor picked by audiences in 2016.
Kim Junsu was picked as the Best Leading Musical Actor for 3 consecutive years, from the 2014 SACA up to the 2016 SAC. Musical actor Kim Junsu’s undiminished strength in undertaking the title roles of ‘Dracula’ and ‘Dorian Gray’ –both which were picked as 2016 SACA’s Best Musicals this year–, of course, showed off its staying power.
For 2016 SACA’s Best Musical Actor& Actress awards, ‘Dorian Gray’ cast’s rapid progress stands out. For its Best Supporting Musical Actress award, ‘Dorian Gray’’s Gu Won-young was picked; and for its Best Supporting Musical Actor award, ‘Dorian Gray’’s Choi Jae-woong was chosen. For Female Rookie award, ‘Dorian Gray’’s Hong Seo-young was named. Also for this year’s newly-established Musical Ensemble award, Musical ‘Dorian Gray’ ensemble team was selected.
In the final selection survey, respondents have to choose from this year’s best works to actors & actresses with their singular choices in a multiple choice about each item.
