To Asia Today, congratulations on the 10th anniversary of your first publication~☆ ^.^.
Group JYJ has expressed their impression for coming back in 3 years and go on Asia tour as a whole group.
Before the concert began that was held in the 15th, JYJ had an interview with Korean press at Hong Kong Asia Center and stated “We all have been doing individual works for about three years but we do not feel pressure to be looking cool as a whole group but rather feel like we’re at home and be healed because we have worked on the album in a comforting mood.”
JYJ had come back with the full second album ‘JUST US’ on July 29 and kicked off their activities with the title song ‘BACK SEAT.’
JYJ said “We were planning to release the second regular album earlier as possible but due to various reasons it was delayed. Meanwhile we’ve been doing individual works and increased capabilities s as artists. We don’t feel like it’s been a long time that we’ve become release this album.”
Although it has been three years that JYJ visited fans in Asia countries, they are still enjoying great popularities among Asian countries. This album has topped the I-Tunes chart of 7 countries, including Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and more and also it ranked the second of Japanese Oricon Weekly chart even without an official release of the album. JYJ explained why they can keep popularities in abroad.
There are many passionate stars but passionate stars that also have courage are rare. In fact, they are limited by the image they have built. In that sense, the move/decision made by singer-actor Kim Jaejoong is very noteworthy.
Kim Jaejoong’s screen debut, <Code name: Jackal>
“I was amazed by the fact that my acting was shown on the big screen. I felt burdensome and also had mixed feelings. Everybody all worried about my public image but I didn’t worry at all. Instead, I really looked forward to showing people a side of me that they have never seen before.”
According to actress Song Jihyo, there were many ad-libs in the filming process.
“It’s not that ad-libs happened because I wanted them to. Since the director didn’t make the ‘cut’ sign, I was just acting naturally. (Laugh) Unlocking the phone with my chin, telling Jackal ‘How much I was looking for you’, etc. are my ideas. Rather than the challenge of comedi acting, the fact that I was tied throughout the movie was actually harder for me. There were also some embarrassing scenes, like the scene in the bathroom. Haha. It was very embarrassing.”
Park Yoochun ended his character as Lee Gak who time-travelled from Joseon Dynasty to modern day Seoul in SBS drama ‘Rooftop Prince’ on the 24th May, after displaying his excellent acting.
On the 30th May in a restaurant at Yeoiudo, Park Yoochun had his interview with our reporter, and talked about Kim Jaejoong who is currently acting in MBC’s weekend drama ‘Dr Jin’ and Kim Junsu who just released his new solo album ‘XIA-Tarantallegra’, cheering up the both of them.
Park Yoochun expressed, “When Junsu said that he is going to release an album, I said, ‘It has to be released no matter what. It is such a good chance.’ His singing skills has been honed through the previous appearances in musicals thus I believed that he can do well for his album.”
“On the day of the release of his MV, I watched it late night and had a shock. So handsome, so unique. I had a proud feeling of ‘As expected of a JYJ member’.” Read More →
