Last weekend, Kim Jae Joong successfully carry out two solo concerts in Nanjing, which is also his first time holding consecutive concerts in China.
On December 7th, Nanjing fell to the haze which resulted in flights being cancelled and fans had to change to high speed rail or chartered transport, braving much difficulties, just to make sure they managed to get to the concert venue.
Facing a full crowd, Jae expressed with mixed feelings “I was worried many fans may not be able to make it due to the weather, but fortunately all came.”
Two consecutive days of concert with a total attendance of almost 10,000 people shows Kim Jae Joong’s box office appeal.
Since last year’s October, from fan-meetings to concerts, this is Kim Jae Joong’s 3rd time holding individual performances in Nanjing in roughly a year.
2013 is his 10th year since his debut and is undoubtedly enriching; from his first mini album, first full solo album, Asia tours and his first consecutive concerts in China.
After the press con and prior to the concert, Sina managed to meet up with Kim Jae Joong for the 3rd time in Nanjing in about a year and talked about his new songs and his concerts.

Kim Jaejoong’s agency C-JeS entertainment said, “4000 tickets to Kim Jaejoong’s 1st Album Asia Tour concert in Busan, which will be held in January next year, were all sold out minutes after the online selling opened. Kim Jaejoong has shown a high level of rock on stage throughout his Asia tour which raises the expectations of local fans.”
On his interview with Sina.com last week in China, Kim Jaejoong has said, “When the Asia tour was announced after the release of the album, the opportunity to meet local fans seems less. So now I am looking forward to my nationwide tour which is my first activity to meet domestic fans.”, he said.
In addition, “Kim Jaejoong is in a unique position since he is an idol singer who chose the rock genre. Kim Jaejoong has enhanced satisfaction among fans in a well-made performance of over 150 minutes without pause. Domestic fans are delighted that the new year will start with Kim Jaejoong’s national tour. We’ve been receiving a lot of inquiries so we expect that the tour will be a success.”
Kim Jaejoong’s first stop in his Asia tour was held at COEX Hall, Seoul last Nov 2 and 3 with all 14,000 seats sold out. His ‘Your, My, Mine’ concert for his mini album last January still holds the record of the most number of international IP users accessing the site at the same time, with 16,000 seats also sold out. Due to fans’ demand, he added an additional concert day in Nanjing, China.
Meanwhile, after his Seoul, Yokohama, Taiwan, Nanjing stops, Kim Jaejoong will continue his tour in Osaka, Japan.
